    Tomatoes are good food to lower thee blood pressure, using a diet that contain tomatoes is a healthy diet that will reaally lower the blood prssure for sure.

      I am only 21 years old having hypertensions quite often.It came to my notice like 8 to 9 months ago.Now I have been prescribed a medicine named larb one per night for last two days.My bp sometimes goes to 140/100.And I weigh 107 kgs with height of 5’10

    My diet is very high in fresh unprocessed vegetables and fruit. I limit my salt intake and do not use table or sea salt in my food, only what is already present . I exercise 5 times a week, drink at least 8 ozs. of water a day. I don’t eat red meat and rarely eat chicken. Since I’m not eating meat, my fat intake is very low, except for maybe what is found in a fat free salad dressing. I have been doing this for 26 days and my blood pressure is still sky high even with medication. Before this time, I still did not eat meat and had reduced my sodium intake. I also have been without added sugar. Yet my blood pressure remains high. I now understand why some smokers keep smoking as it seems nothing I do helps the problem.

    I have known a fruit or a vegetable that is known to lower blood pressure, Chayote. I am not pretty sure if this is known around the world. I have only read it from an article long ago.

      I will say that’s correct. My Panamanian mother boiled the chayote (type of squash- vegetable-ground food) and kept the water and drink it as water. Shell also eat the food.
