    • Heather says:

Make sure you talk with your doctor about any supplements you’re taking, including vitamins and minerals! Not every vitamen is safe.

      • Wendy says:

If you look up side effects you will find out that women who have had breast cancer or are predisposed should not take raspberry keytones. Also if you have had cervical cancer, or problems like cysts on your uterus you are not supposed to take raspberry keytones. I wish women would be told this so they can talk to their doctors about whether they should take the chance or not. If you ar going to take anything you should do as muh research as you can before taking it.

        • Jules says:

          Hi Wendy,

Why can women who have had breast cancer or cervical cancer not take this? I looked it up and I don’t see any contraindications with those conditions with this supplement. Can you please let me know where you found this and what is the source? Thanks :)

        • Jamie says:

Yes, I am wondering the same thing. I researched it and didn’t find anything about RK and breast cancer or cervical cancer. I spoke to my doctor about it and he said that it is fine to take. Can you please let me know where you read this from?

        • Sam Barnhart says:

I researched and found the opposite. One site stated that there are benefits to help fight cancer cells. Now I don’t know if this is a reputable site or not. But I can’t find the predisposed warning anywhere. But if its true I don’t want to take. But if that is not accurate, I want to try it. Can you tell me where you found the info?

        • Tammy says:

Hi Windy,As i was reading this i ran across your post could you please let me know where you found your info .i have had cancer and just started taking the R/K and was told it was safe by many ppl also did a lot of reading on it before starting.I know ppl who have had some types of Cancer can’t had soy.

        • Kristine says:

Wendy, you are incorrect. I am a NP and there are no contraindications with Raspberry Ketone and breast/cervical cancer. The extract actually helps to reduce free radicals so it is the opposite. Please check your sources and do not post information that is false to scare people.

          • Matt says:

Kristine, just because you are a nurse practitioner means nothing. I’m not defending Wendy in any way, but I have about 30 NP’s working for me and the bulk of them are clueless. Not saying you are, but still, you need to link something that shows where there has been research done before you take a stance one way or the other. Some of these drugs are extremely unhealthy for people due to numerous reasons…

            • stacey says:

Matt, it sounds an awful lot like your defending Wendy. Don’t you think that slamming Kristin for not posting backup links to her point of view a tad hypocritical? Did you say anything to Wendy about not backing up her point of view? Think about it.

              • Sheila says:

                I agree Stacey…

I’ve been taking Raspberry Ketone since Oct. 2012 … I have went from 198 to 184 lbs. in 7 mos. That’s 14 lbs.! Mind you… I have had NO side effects except the weight loss, haven’t increased exercising (couple times on my wii fit a month.. if that) and other than slightly changing my diet.. I’m unfortunately still hitting up Mc’D's, Jack in the box, Burger king etc.. truly amazed with the results :-)

                • Corinne says:

Sheila…no one is impressed. That’s 2lbs a month. 1/4lb a week. That could be due to anything. “truly amazed” ??? Doesn’t take much for you I guess.

                  • Cassandra says:

                    Matt: Great points !!!!!!!!

Sheila, no one cares whether your IMPRESSED, however, people do care when it comes to MEAN people, you have NO Right to be mean or attack people such as Stacey, she simply agreed with another poster. If you don’t have anything other then insults, DONT POST !!!!!!

                    • Cassandra says:

Post above is to Corrine, NOT SHEILA, Sheila, I agree with you and thanks for your post. It is Corrine no one cares whether your IMPRESSED, however, people do care when it comes to MEAN people like you, you have NO Right to be mean or attack people such as Sheila who simply agreed with Stacey, another poster. If you don’t have anything other then insults Corrine, DONT POST

                  • Olivia says:

                    Wow, Corinne’s a b**ch.

                  • Maria says:

Wow your a b*tch for putting someone down for being excited with results. Must make you feel better about yourself to bash someone huh?

Congrats on the results Sheila, hope they kept coming.

            • sam says:

Seems like if you have that many clueless NPs working for you, you aren’t a very effective leader.

            • cathy says:

Matt alot of ppl stated the fact of it not being bad I dont think you need to have a personal attack on the “NP”, way to read more into it…

          • Vanessa says:

To say she is incorrect because you are a nurse practitioner is really not helpful to the people on this website trying to discern between all the conflicting information. Unless you have been part of the medical studies that took place before raspberry ketones were places on the market, then you are no more an expert in this field than Wendy is.

        • Sgaitor says:

I had a cyst before on my ovary. Is it okay to take raspberry keytones because of me having that before. And why can’t women who have problems with cysts on their uterus take raspberry keytones?

      • jack says:

is it sutible for men? eg, 17 year olds

        • MattS says:

A 17 year old male really should have a healthy enough lifestyle to not need this supplement.

          • taylor says:

That is not true. Some people have reasons even at a young age. I am 19 and I was just told I have PCOS and that has been a reason for my weight gain despite my healthy lifestyle. I eat healthy, work out everyday and everything and my weight still doesn’t move. So yes, some of us need that kickstart at that young of an age.

    • minka says:

You won’t get the jitters with Raspberry Ketone. That’s why Dr. Oz recommends it. Just take the supplement by itself with no coffee to see if it gives you enough energy without the coffee. If not, I would suggest that you drink 1 cup instead of 2.

      • isidran says:

i bot them and they are keeping me awake ..even if i take them very early in am.. i still cant sleep that nite… they give me energy ..and then i cant get to sleep….. tried it several times.. same thing again happen.. so upset coz i wanted to try them..anyone got any suggestions… or will i get use to this

        • jere says:

Everyone has a different tolerance for caffeine. If it is bothering you, you won’t likely get used to it. The easiest way to lose weight and get healthy is lifestyle change. I used a program by TSFL and lost 40 lbs five years ago.
          Good luck, Jere Mcgrew

          • Susan Smelser says:

Thanks for your comment, Jere, you are correct. I lost 130lbs on the program with TSFL and have also kept it off. Love to hear of another loser with our plan. I would say it is safe to use both but the healthy habits from tsfl would be the ultimate answer if you are trying to get or stay healthy.

        • lynn says:

If you are taking raspberry ketone and it has any caffein in it.. i would suggest you stop taking it!!

          • Diane says:

I just started taking the RK 8/28/12. After reading your message I took a look @ the ingredients and caffeine anhydrous IS listed. I take a low dosage of high blood pressure medication, you think this would be a bad mixture? Maybe I should return my bottle, I sure don’t want a heart attack, I just recently celebrated my 60th birthday! I drink decaf coffee but once in awhile when we eat out I would have a cup of regular coffee. Truly this is now scaring me.

            • Roy says:

What brand is it? How many mg of it does it have? The brand I take only has 25 mg of it per serving and that is nothing to be concerned about. If it is more than 100 mg, then I would suggest that you do not take it.

              • Theresa says:

I also have high blood pressure and mine keytones say they are 500mg. Also The other ingredients are magnesium, stearatem gelatin and cellulose. no other juices or anything. the brand is AL Sports Nutrition . 500 mg and take it 3 times a day sounds odd. No caffeine though, Does anyone else have those ingredients only only in there’s? worried about the 500 mg also

                • Renee says:

@Theresa I was looking fr answers too, I have the brand MartzMayer 200mg
w/Gelatin Calcium Carbonate Magnesium Stearate. Also have high b/p
Calcium and Magnesium I know can make you drowsy, my problem is I think I’m allergic because I have a rash.
I jumped right into the Raspberryu Ketones w/o any real research Now I wish I had chosen something w/ Fruit ingredients, I have several different brands so now to figure out if Im allergic or not as for the b/p
Have your b/p checked my Dr. is against any kind of supplement… idk why.
So I’m not asking but having b/p taken should help you feel more secure I’m going to read more see what others are saying take care good luck
b-t-w Ive lots 22lbs in a little over a month. *smile*

              • Renee says:

I cant see wher to just ask a new question mine is I have bought 2 kinds a powder form and the capsule which is recommended? by Anyone please?

                • Janie says:

I take the capsules and they work great. I’m sure the powder is fine also but probably just more inconvenient to take than a capsule. The brand I’m taking is Healthier Raspberry Ketone.

                  • Crystal Massey says:

I just got my RK in the mail earlier and it is in a liquid form with dropper and the name on the label is Raspberry Ultra Drops the ingrediants read : Proprietary Complex: 100mg per serving Raspberry Keytones Irvingia Gabonensis (African Mango Extract) Green Tea Extract
                    L- Tyrosine
and it says take two droppers full twice daily and I have concern about my blood pressure I am 36 year old female smoker at that and I actually have never had a problem with my weight it has always been 120lb – 130lb but over the last six months I have continued to gain weight and the last two months I went from 180 down to 170 and have stayed at 170 so i really only need to loose forty pounds and I am hoping I spent my money doing the right thing!!!

                    • Ahintn says:

I have the same problem. Just purchased. Have you seen any benefits? How many do you take daily? Mine are 250mg per capsule. Thanks!

                    • stacey says:

If there are any extra additives and the dosage is less than 500mgthen you purchased the wrong kind. In order for it to be completely safe it must be from 100% pure raspberries. Even something as simple as adding another fruit would compromise it’s potency and safeness. You should buy a product that is registered with the FDA approved facility along with as well as compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices standards (GMP) and The Code of Federal Regulations(CFR) for your safety. There are no scientifically proven side effects to pure raspberry ketones. However, that is most likely do to the small amount of scientific research. I posted the data from 1 of the studies conducted:
No one can say 100% if it’s completely safe or not but, it’s an all natural antioxidant. Considering all the other ingredients we consume, wear, breath, etc……..this seems a small risk. All I know is that I have suffered with intestinal problems due to an autoimmune disease for over 10years and since I started taking the ketones it has helped a great deal in the function of my stomach and colon. So, I’m happy to be on this band wagon.

              • Mrs t says:

I just received my RK and I too take a dosage of high blood pressure medication of 50mgs is this safe or should I return it?

            • Chip says:

I take healthier raspberry ketone and I haven’y had any side effects with it. I think there is some caffeine in it but it does not bother me. I feel more energy throughout the day and I fall asleep fine because I go to the gym every morning, work until 6 PM and by 10 PM, I am out. It may be that the supplement affects everyone differently.

            • Alison says:

How long do you take them and what happens to your weight when you stop ?

              • lori m. says:

I took mine for 4 months and once I reached my weight loss goal, I stopped taking them. I haven’t put any of the weight I lost back on but I have changed my diet and lifestyle. I drink soda and eat sweets in moderation instead of when I want. Best of luck to everyone!

          • Jeanne says:

I started taking raspberry ketone with caffine 7 days ago and last night I had the same reaction I did before I quit drinking coffee.. There is a history of heart disease in my family and although I am very active and healthy, I cannot use caffine. My heart was skipping beats, beating hard at 100bpm and I felt very uncomfortable. I WAS taking Phytogenix Ultimate Raspberry Ketone. Hopefully I will get my money back. I did not heed the advice from all the objective sites regarding raspberry ketones NOT to buy the products that stack. Stick to the actual and make sure its pharmaceutical grade. Nutrabio is a great company to buy from. I was lazy and impulsive…. learn from my mistakes, please!

            • Gloria says:

I bought Pure Raspberry Ketone by Genesis Today at the health food store. It’s 800mg per dose (2 caps). The only other ingrediant is the vegtable capsule. There were other brands with caffine and other stuff. I, too have high BP and stay away from anything with caffine or similar products. The purer the better. Now, I used to drink apple cider vinegar but quit due to convience. I may start adding that back.

I suggest going to a good health food store or viatmin shop and asking someone who is familiar with the poducts and high blood pressure.

            • Heather says:

I’m curious about your problem with caffine. I too had a problem using caffine and I never really got a true diagnosis. Some said it was a form of autoimmune disorder. With me, my throat would feel like it’s closing up and my heart would palpitate. After doing all sorts of testing and procedures, all they could come up with was acid reflux or auto immune. Did you ever get a diagnosis? I just steer clear of caffine all together because I’m so scared of those symptoms returning. I also wanted to try the keytones but am leary after reading some of the posts.

              • jeff says:

Heather, is it possible your dx was dysautonomia? That would make more sense. A dysfunctional autonomic nervous system would certainly make caffeine a problem. It is an umbrella title for anything wrong with your nervous system and doesn’t tell you what causes it or any specifics. An auto immune problem could cause damage to your nervous system and be causing the dysfunction. I would pursue that, but I have a debilitating dysautonomia and it has a large impact on my life. I wish I had known more sooner.

                • Sandy says:

I have 5 kids with dysautonomia and have found great help with Dr. Phillip Watkins in Birmingham, AL. He is a cardiologist who runs a center there called the Center for MVP/Dysautonomia Disorders. They are on several meds now but are functioning so much better!

            • Evelyn says:

Hi there I was wondering what i the name and brand of ketone you take. I too cut out all caffeine and really wnt to try this but I am afraid to pick anything up do exactly the prblems u had.

          • Tami says:

Is there one brand that you have tried and know that its a 100 percent safe and works like they claim….If so can you tell me which brand you used
Thank you…I’m just lookin and sounds very interesting

            • Coleen says:

I’ve been taking the product from Healthier Post and I haven’t had any issues with it. I take it as recommend- 2 a day with plenty of water and they have been giving me more energy. Their product is all natural extract so I think if you are taking that, you shouldn’t have any issues.

          • Jonathon says:

Even without caffeine pure raspberry can cause jitterines. It is chemically related to a stimulant called synephrine. Therefore, it is possible that raspberry ketone might cause feelings of jitteriness, increase blood pressure, or rapid heart beat.

            • barb says:

I’m on my 2nd bottle of rasp. ketones & just recently my blood pressure has sky rocketed 145 over 94 and I have a very bad jittery feeling all day long. I’ll quit the RK. and go back to old fashion diet & excersize.

        • Susan says:

I would suggest that you buy a Raspberry Ketone that does not contain caffeine. I did some research and having caffeine in RK is not a good idea. I have bought a RK that is suppose to be 100% natural. The only extra it has is vitamin C. Goodluck!

          • Sue says:

            Hi Susan,

Can you provide the name of the RK w/vitamin C that you bought. I too have HBP and want to stay away from caffeine, but need help with my appetite. Did the product you bought help you and where did you get it. The other product that GNC told me has not caffeine is Hoodia.

          • debra says:

hi wht brand are you usingthat is caffeine free? the caffeine is making me headaches, nausea, had to stop taking it.

        • dee says:

The best thing I can suggest that my mother and I do because we was also unable to sleep is at night take some benadryl it will put you to sleep!

          • Anton says:

Most people who have taken raspberry ketone have reported no side effects from it. The ketone contains some quantities of caffeine but this should not be a bother to users. It leaves one feeling energetic throughout the day with no problems whatsoever when it comes to sleeping. Granted, the supplement ought to work just fine but my guess is that it can react to various users differently.

            • jodi says:

Has anyone gotten stomach upset or reflux symptoms? have reflux, which is pretty much controlled if I stay away from the wring foods. I tried RK two different timesand my reflux kicked in for 3 days.

              • Jane says:

I have taken tablets for 3 days and have reflux and upset stomach – not too sure if it is worth the discomfort to carry on?

                • Tina says:

My experience is not scientific, nor a recommendation, simply information that may be helpful.
I have found that I get reflux when I drink water and do not eat, or drink sodas and do not eat. My reflux goes away with the regimen of eating half a Granny Smith apple and a half cup of plain yogurt between dinner and bedtime. After two weeks of doing this nightly, I found I could do this every other night and stay reflux-free. After thirty days, and some modification reducing soda intake and fatty food intake, I suffered no reflux. Now, from time to time, If I experience any reflux, I return to the apple and yogurt with satisfactory results.

        • sam says:

check to see how much caffeine is in the one you take. it might be one with a lot of caffeine and not enough of the rk extract. i would suggest switching to a all natural brand with 300 mg or more of the extract.

        • danny says:

buy the kind that is just all natural raspberry ketone. yours sounds like it has a lot of caffeine in it. try a good product and you should be fine.

        • Mary says:

I only took 2 supplement tabs of raspberry keytones before noon on Sunday and I tossed and turned all night and was so restless I could not believe it. I am not entirely sure if it is due to this supplement. I have been taking the green coffee extract and did not feel any change. I purposely did not weigh myself every day, but I did this morning and it looks like I went up 8 lbs. Wow, not what I expected after using the green coffee for a month now. I am not sure what is going on. Not sure I would try the raspberry again today?

          • bernie says:

I also gained weight (12lbs) within 1 month! I am very active, I train 5-6 days a week at the gym have been for 2yrs now. But since starting to take green coffee bean pills my weight kept climbing! Tossed the pills yesterday as they were the only change in my life.

I purchased Sundown Naturals brand yesterday. There is no caffiene in these 100mg capsules. There are several brands that do not contain caffiene.

        • Pam says:

I have just purchased them and are finding the same thing. Sleep is becoming a precious commodity. I am not a good sleeper any way, can be up for a couple hours in the middle of the night. But this is not right, it’s effecting my daytime. One can only go on so little sleep.

I have tried reducing the dose, taking only one pill instread of 2. Next i am going to try to cut it half and take half with my breakfast and the other with dinner. I don’t know if this will have effective benefits still or not. But I think I’ll try.

        • jay says:

i bought the Raspberry keytones , started taking them friday morning only one dose worth and started having trouble later at night with not being able to sleep and was told by a pharmacist late sat night/ sun morning that they were causing it and can affect people with anxiety issues very badly.
i highly recommend you be careful taking them.

        • nicd says:

          take half.

        • Jane says:

Maybe a lower dosage would work better for you

        • Kate says:

What else is in the supplement that you purchased. Before I purchased my bottle of Raspberry Keytone I did research on the different brands and walked through four different stores reading the packages of each raspberry keytone diet they had on their shelf. MOST of the ones that i picked up and read had many other ingredients in them. If this is the case for you try purchasing a different brand. Natures Valley (the vitamin company) has a bottle of 60 capsules of JUST raspberry ketone. It is a 100mg dose per pill. You could try taking those for a few days to see if that one keeps you awake or if it is something in the first purchase you made.

        • Krystal says:

Hey! Have you tried working out 30min after you take them?? It helps me be tired enough to sleep!!

    • Judith says:

I take healthier raspberry ketone lean and I have not had any side effects with them. I take them in the morning with my breakfast and a full glass of water. They last me all day for energy and I also do not get as many cravings as I normally do. It’s been 3 weeks and I’m down 10 pounds so far so I am very happy with my progress.

    • BJ says:

I don’t know about your product but I took Roxy Lean which is highly caffeinated and ended up with a heart attack. (My cardiologist said I was the second person who had a heart attack after taking it). I had no risk factors and no blockages – in other words, I shouldn’t have had a heart attack. Be careful especially since you drink coffee anyway.

      • Judith says:

Hi BJ, you need to be very careful about what you take and make sure you read the labels. It sounds like the product you took had A LOT of caffeine in it which is not what natural raspberry ketone products should have that much of. I’m glad that you are ok now and brave enough to share your story. Best of luck to you!

    • Kathy says:

I have been reading about this product. According to the label the formula has grapefruit in it. I take a statin drug. Grapefruit generally inactivates the statin drug. Yet it claims to lower cholesterol (or some posts indicate that this was something they noticed). Anyone have any comments on this?

      • Marilyn says:

This is my question also. Has anyone answered on this subject? My Dr.has often warned me about grapefruit.

        • della says:

Re grapefruit: What are you taking??? Raspberry Ketones comes in a bottle with no added ingredinents other than the ingredients that make up capsule. Almost all medications warn against taking, eating or drinking grapefruit. If you’re going to take this product, buy a pure product.

          • Kathy says:

I want to try it but I am a little scared…so I guess I will ask my dr. I have hbp controlled by meds and diabetes that I am trying to control with diet…but it is hard. They want to put me on Metformin but I am fighting it. If these Raspberry Ketones will help with no side affects that would be a miracle.

      • lynn says:

        KATHY ,

Definatly stay away from the gratfruite… if your on a statin drug… you will regret it!!

and anyone who takes cafein in a diet supp. is also at risk for severe issues including heart attack..

        • Jan says:

Didn’t PHEN products get banned yeas ago? They were giving people heart attacks left and right. Your best bet is to find an all natural supplement with as little caffeine as possible and you should be ok. My supplement has raspberry ketone and african mango in it.

        • Kim says:

I bought a few bottles of raspberry ketone lean advanced weight loss. The ingredients on this bottles says: raspberry ketone, African mango extract (irvingia gabonensis), acai fruit, green tea extract, resveratrol, caffeine anhydrous, apple cider vinegar (powder), kelp, grapefruit (powder)

Are these the ingredients of the healthy raspberry ketone product? Reading the above posts I was concerned about the caffeine and grapefruit although minimal in its content.

          Please advise! Thanks :)

          • Joanna says:

Hi Kim, I take Healthier Raspberry Ketone and it has similar ingredients that you listed above. I’ve been taking to for 2 months now and I haven;t had any side effects. I do not have any health issues and I think that the grapefruit is a problem for people who have certain health problems. The customer service rep told me that with my product, the caffeine is from the green tea extract and that it is only a very small amount. Hope that helps you! :)

        • leeann says:

I ordered th pure raspberry ketone is that a good brand?

          • Lara says:

No, I took that brand and it gave me blood in my urine! I had to go to the ER and they said I had a kidney infection. The only thing I was taking that was new were the “pure raspberry ketones” supplement. STAY AWAY FROM THAT BRAND!!!

          • Denise says:

I am taking the Raspberry Ketone Pure brand – they come in 500mg capsules – with no other ingredients. The directions said to take 2 capsules 30 min before breakfast and lunch, and not to exceed 4 capsules a day. I however, am only taking 1 capsule a day – and will check my progress after a month. I think as long as there are no other ingredients – it should be safe – it’s just the 500mg per capsule that concerns me, which is why i only take one a day.

      • Dorothy says:

Don’t take it if you cannot have grapefruit. You will get side effects from it.

      • cheryl C. says:

Hi, Kathy if you cant have grapefruit because of your meds, i would definetly stay away from it!

    • Lisa says:

It is fine to drink coffee I drink lots of coffee I drink it all day with out stopping till I go to bed and took the green coffee pill to and I was fine

    • james says:

i been lucky enough to not get any side effect i took them for 2 mons and lost 15 pounds good in my book bought the ones right off of here customer service was very nice

    • Lak says:

I was wondering if there is a diet to follow?? I have taken the liquid form, followed a good diet and exercised for 2 weeks and haven’t lost a pound??? I exercise daily and eat well, I feel like I was sent something which is not effective?? Is this just a hoax???

  2. cielo says:

the ingredient caffeine anhydrous in the raspberry ketone lean, will it bother me, as i am a coffee drinker in the mornings only, 2 big cups, it gets me going, but i dont want to feel the jitters. is it better for me to take them a few hours after the coffee, since the coffee is the first thing i do in the mornings to get rolling. i would appreciate any help you can give me on this question. i would like to start my ketones tomorrow, but dont want to be bouncing off the walls with any jitters. thanks

    • Honey says:

I just took the Raspberry Ketone Lean yesterday BEFORE realizing that it has caffeine anhydrous in it — and was awake and jittery most of the night — I read over and over that there were no side effect and no stimulants, specifically looking for something without cafffeine. I tried taking one this morning and felt “buzzing” in my head — I don’t think this will work, but maybe there ARE some that don’t have caffeine — just be cautious.

      • Taylor says:

Yeah, you need to make sure you are taking pure Raspberry Ketone extract. There are many brand out there that have very little of the extract and more of the other ingredients so just make sure you are buying all-natural and at least 200 mg per serving.

      • Margaret says:

I am highly sensitive to anything with caffeine in it, but I took the Raspberry Ketone and I slept fine. I do have more energy than ever before. I like that.

        • mack says:

I’ve had the same success with Raspberry Ketone and no side effects. I’ve been on them for 2 months now and I’ve lost 12 pounds. I’m very happy with my results and I’ve been recommending them to all of my friends and family. You have to make sure that you are taking a good quality product or you will not get the results and you may get side effects.

          • heidi says:

Hello Mack, I wanted to know which one is good quality? I brought a bottle from GNC for $20.. if I may ask where did you purchase yours from and what’s the brand name? and do yours have the extract that I been reading everyone is talking about? because the one I have dont have it .. the one one im taking is from Healthy Origins. Thanks…

            • mack says:

@heidi The brand I am taking is Healthier Raspberry Ketone Lean. Have you felt a difference on the one you are taking? You should feel more energy and your cravings subsiding. If you are not feeling different or seeing results, try the brand I am taking. I know everyone is different but I have had great success with that product and I am still tang them.

            • Rose Anne says:

I just bought RK from GNC…Rightway Nutrition…just took one pill so far…seems like taste is lingering with me…..and have a” warm” feeling inside. Didn’t realize that it needed to be “extract”. have you had any succes with weight loss?

              • Jenny Nguyen says:

                Hi Rose,

I just order from GNC on 6/12/2012 and I am waiting for it, I will get it on 6/18/2012. Please let me know how do you feel and any success with weight loss. My email address is

                Jenny Nguyen

              • Peter says:

It just has been be all natural and made from the Raspberry Ketone extract. Buy one that has 500 mg of the extract so you can get the benefits of weight loss with it.

          • samy says:

Hi Mack, thanks for the info/posting. Can you please let me know what brand and mg you take? Thanks.

            • mack says:

@samy Here is the brand I take I called the customer support line and it contains 500 mg of the extract per serving which is 2 capsules. Good luck to you.

              • Jenna says:

@Mack I was wondering how many bottles you bought to start out with. I had a baby 6 months ago and am looking to loose 20-25 lbs in my belly and love handles. Would u be willng to share with me what u did to loose the weight? just looking for some guidance.

                • Henriette says:

Hi jenna i wanted to know if u was breasfeeding cause You said you had a baby and wanted to lose some weight i also had a baby and breasfeeding im just curious if its k to take it while breasfeeding please let me know thanks

                  • trudy says:

i think you can start taking it after you stop breast feeding. my bottle says not to take it if you are pregnant.

                • mack says:

@jenna I started and bought 2 bottles and I have since ordered 4 more bottles to continue my weight loss goal. I did make small changes to my life like trying to eat healthier, especially when I eat out. I’ve also started walking my dogs 5 days a week and even am going to to a yoga class once a week. None of my life changes have even dramatic but I’m sure they are helping me with my weight loss along with this great supplement. Best of lucky to you and I hope you reach your weight loss goal!

          • Clare says:

FYI: I’m skeptical of the ‘no side effects’ there are lots of side effects associated with ketosis and one of them is headaches, which I suffered whilst taking these. I did, however, lose weight!

            • guest says:

I’ll take headaches all day to lose this weight! The way I see it, nothing is easy and side effect free so I’d rather have that if it really will help me lose the weight. That positive would outweigh the negatives any day…

            • EWF says:

How soon did you start to see results? Do you have to follow a meal plan with these?

              • Lynn H. says:

Keep in mind that nothing works overnight. If you eat healthy and exercise, you will be doing your body a favor and you will see results. If you just take it and do not make any changes and think that you can be a couch potato and eat crappy foods, it’s reality check time.

            • Lisa says:

It’s raspberry ketones…nowhere have i seen any indication that it in any way causes ketosis, which would be a result of diet (i.e., next to zero carbs), with or without raspberry ketones. Have to wonder if the headaches might have been caused by an added ingredient (i.e. if your brand was one that had caffeine).

              • Madison says:

Lipolysis is a metabolic state or condition that occurs when the liver converts fat into ketone bodies and fatty acids and then uses them for energy. Just about everyone who’s ever been on a serious diet recognizes the word ketosis. The burning of fat through lipolysis causes the body to go into ketosis. One of the side effects is a distinct breath odor that is generally neutralized by chewing gum. So the best raspberry ketones side effect is this odor because it indicates that your body is busy burning your stored fat and using it as a source of fuel. Lipolysis and ketosis go hand in hand. Can’t have one without the other.

            • denise elkins says:

I started the RK a couple of weeks ago and I have been having daily headaches since then. Didn’t put two and two together until today. I will stop taking them for a few days and see if the headaches disappear.

              • sam says:

hi denise, your product probably has a lot of caffeine in it. I had the same thing happen to me, horrible headaches and that I saw that the brand I was taking from GNC had 200 mg of caffeine per serving! I stopped them immediately.

            • Janae says:

So you got headaches and that was it? What other side effects did you get? If that is all and you lost weight, can you let me know what brand you took?

          • Helen says:

What brand do you take? I just started a brand I picked up from The Vitamin Shoppe. I read the ingredients
and there was no caffeine. How soon do you see results? I know you need to continue dieting and exercising too right?

            • Jonathan says:

If you just take a supplement and sit around all day and continue to eat fatty foods, etc. you rent doing your body a favor. These supplements are meant to help you burn fat and lose weight but you won;t see a change if you do not change at all. If you are committed to losing weight, take the supplement, do SOME exercise like walking and try to eat healthier. You cannot get help if you do not help yourself. I took this supplement for 3 months and lost 19 pounds with healthier eating habits and more exercise. I don’t think I would have lost anything if I didn’t change my normal habits. Good luck to you all who are committed.

          • Veronica says:

Which brand of rasberry ketone are you using.

          • Bea says:

How do you know a good quality product…especially ordering online.

            • Darren says:

You need to make sure you do your research on the company and that they are selling a high quality product. Look for all natural raspberry ketone extract and for 500 mg a day. Check out the reviews and comments to see of other shoppers were satisfied with the product.

          • katiejo says:

How many times a day are you suppose to take it? Mine says 800mg per serving

          • rhonda baldwin says:

what brand are you taking. I had bought some a month ago and it is not working for me. It has changed my apppetite but I have put on 5 lbs from this. I bought the Pure Rasberry Ketone with 1200 MG.

            • linda says:

Your product must have a lot of “filler” ingredients in it and it’s most likely not a good quality product. You would have lost weight already if you took a good product.

            • Steve says:

Probably a low quality product that is not natural ketone extract. You should look for another brand that contains high quality extract.

          • Samm says:

Hey , I’m looking into this product , I havent seen anything about if you stop taking it ; I don’t want to take it then stop then gain weight ! So I was curious as to if one would gain weight back after they were to stop taking RK ? Not sure if you would know the answer , I just wanted to ask somebody who has had success with RK ! (:

            • Matt says:

You need to work out….leisurely laying around waiting for the fat to drop off won’t help. There’s never an easy way out.

Supplements are ALWAYS 95% Workout and Diet, and 5% supplements.

The pure extract will work, just as well as the pure green tea extract I have does. It won’t work though, like I previously mentioned, if you just sit around waiting for the magic to happen.

            • Nate says:

Once you lose the weight with these pills, just make sure you change your bad habits and adopt healthier ones and you will not gain the weight back. Keeping the weight off takes sacrifice but if you are willing to do it, you will keep the weight off!

            • roxy says:

Yes, workout and make healthier eating choices after you lose the weight and you will be fine :)

            • Dorothy says:

If you make sensible choices with the foods you eat and do SOME exercise, you will be fine. I would suggest that you not go back to your old habit as that may be what was causing the weight gain to begin with.

            • Doug says:

As long as you don’t go crazy with eating a bunch of junk food and not exercise, you should not gain the weight back. Everything is OK in moderation and we all need to make smart choices daily.

            • Cynthia says:

I lost 20 pounds over a month ago with healthier post’s raspberry ketone and I have been able to keep the weight off. I am still eating smaller portions but just eat more often (6 small meals a day). I’ve also continued my gym routine of an hour twice a week. I know that since I’ve been able to keep the weight off for a month now, I won;t have any problems with keeping it off long term. Small steps is all it takes and I’ve had a very hard time with losing this last 20 pounds over the years so if I can do it, I think anyone can.

            • michelle says:

lost 25 pounds with the supplement and haven’t gained 1 pounds back! it’s been over a month so i’m sure i can keep this up :)

          • shararah says:

did you took them with food or befor starting food.

        • emily says:

how many pills do you have to take and how many times a day

          • marlene says:

my bottle says to take 250 mg twice a day. i take all natural healthier raspberry ketone and they have been working great for me.

      • pamela shultz says:

I started to take the raspberry ketone and after the 3 day my night sweats increased and working out at the gym I was getting soaked. Is this normal? My supplement is pure and I was taking 3 a day before meals. 100mg per capsul

        • justine says:

I’ve been experiencing the same thing. I get drenched at the gym now doing the same class I normally take. My friend said that it is the toxins being removed by your body. She said this sweating will continue and it will help you lose the weight. I’ve lost 3 pounds so far but I’m exercising and eating low carb so I’m definitely helping my body out. Hope to get to my goal of 15 pounds off by June 15th!

          • Yolanda says:

            Hi Justine,

I was wondering what brand of raspberry ketone are you using and where did you purchase it? Can you post this information.

            • justine says:

              Hi Yolanda,

I’m taking Raspberry Ketone from Healthier Post. You just click on the shopping portion of this site and you can find the product. I heard about it here on the blog and decided to give it a try. So glad I did! Good luck to you :)

          • Faith says:

Hey Justin! The reason that you’re sweating so much is because your body temperature is higher than it usually is. The raspberry ketone slightly raises your body temperature, and because of that your body feels that it’s always time to sweat to cool off your system. It has nothing to do with releasing toxins, but it will continue as long as your taking the raspberry ketone.

            • justine says:

If that is the case, is it safe for an elevated body temperature? I didn’t know this and now I have to research it!

          • Kim says:

I have had the same thing happening. I bought Raspberry Ketones recommended by Dr. Oz. I have only been taking them 3 days and I have lost 2 pounds all ready. I do walk or play tennis everyday and try to eat a healthy diet. I Heard they raise your body temperature some to burn fat is that why we are all sweating?

            • shannon says:

yup, it’s from the ketosis that is happening in your body. it is helping you burn the fat off so you will be sweating more. kind of like a fever when your body is fighting off the infection and you feel hot. good luck!

        • michelle says:

you should never exceed 200 mg of raspberry ketone a day…and it’s always best to take them a half hour before your heaviest meals. i take one before breakfast and one before lunch. by dinner time i end up eating half the portion i’m used to eating. i can feel my energy increasing…and i can definitely see my wasteline starting to recede. always helps to keep drinking water…exercising and eating smart. but raspberry ketone actually helps to get rid of the bad fats by breaking them down and getting rid of them the natural way.

          • Joel says:

Where did you get that info from Michelle? I’ve read that you need 500 mg of the extract for the weight loss effects. Please let me know because I’m about to try it.

      • julia says:

The Raspberry Ketone brand I have (Tru Raspberry Ketone by Trubody Wellness) suggest you take 1 pill in the morning and 1 pill at lunch. Would taking it at those times help the caffiene wear off for you before bed?

        • Lynn says:

The name of your product indicates that is “tru” or pure RK, but then you ask the caffiene question…if your product were pure, it wouldn’t have caffiene! Also, to all those that are purchasing $20 bottles of RK are not getting pure raspberry ketone. You get what you pay for…stop it. These filler ingredients will harm you.

          • Kim says:

The bottle I bought was recommened by Dr. Oz in First Fit magazine

            • Linda says:

Any good quality supplement with all natural extract will cost more than $20. Anything under $20 is made with low quality ingredients and also a lot of “filler.” Do some research and buy a good quality product from a reputable company. Lynn’s saying above is correct, you really get what you pay for and I would not put anything in my body that is cheap and low quality.

    • Rhianne says:

I would suggest skipping one cup of coffee or both because the product does have green tea extract so it will naturally have caffeine, probably the equivalent of a cup of coffee.

  3. cielo says:

will raspberry ketone lean give me the jitters if i take it after i have my morning coffee(2cups) or should i wait a few hours until the coffee is out of my system.

    • Mary says:

@cielo, I take 2 capsules of raspberry ketone in the morning before a light breakfast. No need for the coffee and this supplement gives you a great start to the day. :)

    • Dustone says:

I’ve been taking these for a week now and I haven;t had any jitters. If I take it on an empty stomach, it does make me feel a little weird but not jittery. If I take it with breakfast, I hardly feel a difference besides forgetting to eat lunch until 1 or 2. Hopefully I will see weight loss soon.

  4. cielo says:

i apologize for the added comments, when i sumitted it, it would not go through. i guess it finally did. sorry

  5. Joyce says:

I am taking raspberry ketone and have had trouble with upset stomach and acid reflex since I started on them. Yes, of course, it takes away my appetite and helps me lose weight but I feel awful. What do you think? I have recently been diagnosed with fructose intolerance. Could that be the reason? I have an under active thyroid. Could it be affecting my thyroid? Thanks, Joyce

    • shay says:

I have been rasberry ketones as well and I am also experiencing heartburn and upset stomach. My bowels movements haev certainly increased. I have lost 5 pounds in 2 weeks.

      • Cindy says:

Do you take them on an empty stomach or with food and how often? I took one on an empty stomach the other day and had a very upset stomach for about an hour. When is the best time to take them to get the most effect?

        • Luanne says:

I take mine in the morning with a light breakfast like a protein bar or some toast. I got an upset stomach too when I took them on an empty stomach but now that I take them with something, I have no problems with it.

          • Jessica says:

I have too experienced the acid reflux from taking the ketones. It is MUCH worse when I take it on an empty stomach. So I would suggest trying it with food. I have actually had to take it and eat immediately after because I tried waiting a few minutes after and the reflux starts within a minute or so!!

            • Eve says:

Is the reflux safe? I had that the first 3 days I took it but then I took it with food like evyone suggested and the reflux has gone away but I’m concerned about what is causing the reflux? Is it just the high potency of the berry extract? I notice I get the same reflux after I eat strawberries. Any info would be helpful.

              • Erica says:

Yes, acid reflux could be quite painful. Make sure you stay away from acidic foods, and raspberries are acidic as well. Also make sure you drink lots of water if you continue to take the pills.

            • Mary Ellen says:

Try taking Tums or Prelief if you are having any indigestion or acid reflux problems. I had some issues the first week I took them but the symptoms have subsided. Hope that was helpful

        • harmony says:

I would suggest taking them in the morning with your breakfast. Make sure it is a full breakfast that will fill you up so you do not get an upset stomach. I’ve been getting acid reflux as well. It’s not too bad but I definitely do feel it and my doctor says it’s from the Raspberry extract. I take chewable Tums when I get it or if my tummy hurts and it goes away. Down 5 pounds in 18 days.

      • nicole says:

May I inquire what brand you purchased and where? You are taking the extract yes, and not the rasberry ketone lean?

Where please did you purchase it?

        Thank you.

    • Carrie says:

@Joyce, I’ve been taking RK for 3 weeks now and I’ve been lucky enough to not have experienced any symptoms. My thoughts on what you are experiencing is perhaps the weight loss process is different for everyone. The symptoms could be from toxins being removed from your system. I had a friend who was on it and she had more bowel movements but she has been losing just as much weight as me. I think even though RK are all natural, there are side effects to the weight loss itself which is mostly your body flushing out the bad toxins and the weight.

    • Jane says:

I checked with my doctor as I have been getting acid reflux symptoms and he said that the extract is a highly concentrated dose of Raspberry Ketone so you may get some of those symptoms. He said it should go away after a week of taking the supplement. I’m on week 2 and I fel that symptom starting to subside. I do feel an increase in my energy as well.

      • Patricia says:

I recently started the vitamin and after the third day I experienced sever heart burn and acid reflux. I started prilosec and it is helping with most of the system. I had stopped taking it but after reading the post, I thought that I could start it again and see how I feel in a week. So far, so good after re-starting. Mild system with the additional medication for the acid reflux.

        • Debra says:

I take a capful of of apple cider vinigar in a coffe cup size glass of warm water and ever since I dont get any lind of heart burn or reflux. I learned this from a Viniger Remmedies book my grandma had years ago. From that point on I never used any more, tums prilosec or anything but the apple cidar viniger trick. Its easy to swallow by adding a few drops of liquid stevia or honey. It works absolutely every time! Try it I am sure I will see your testimony posted here :) Blessings

          • Heidi says:

Typical of “folk” remedies, it does not make sense. Vinegar is an ACID, it cannot stop acid reflux disease.

            • Tracy says:

@Heidi…it depends on your stomach. My husband has bad heartburn but I was told to give him some water with white vinegar. He said that it burned going down but it stopped the burning in his stomach instantaneously. You just need to find out if you have too much acid or not enough acid in your stomach.

            • Erica says:

Not a folk remedy, it’s science. Vineger is actually an alkaline substance -Not all acids are ‘acidic’.

            • Gadbriel says:

Guess what Heidi, as folk remedy as it may sound, the human body actually converts into an alkaline once ingested. Now how’s that for intelligent design? Only a higher intelligence could have pulled that off. It’s not “Folklore” do your research. +Peace+

            • Lily says:

Apple Cider Vinegar is the absolute best remedy for many ailments… and though acidic it is in fact a great relief and many times a cure for acid reflux, heartburn, poor digestion and that aids the digestive process tremendously, as well. If you have acid or stiff painful joints, inflammation, psoriasis, eczema, acne and many other things… try apple cider vinegar… Done speak (Heidi) without researching or trying… you’d be doing yourself a disservice and if you try it you’ll be giving yourself a great and inexpensive gift.

          • Cheryl says:

Debra, I bought Dynamic Health Raspberry Ketones Complete (vegetarian capsules) from my local health food store, and apple cidar vinegar is one of the ingredients (as well as African Bush Mango, & Acai Berry.) I’m planning to start my first bottle tomorrow.

          • June says:

Thanks for the tip Debra. I prefer natural remedies over medication so I will give that a try! :)

          • winnie says:

thanks for that tip! it helped me out a lot. never knew it was good for indigestion but now i know :)

    • steve says:

What, if any thing did you find out about the effects of the RK on your thyroid, I also have low thyroid.

      Thanx, Steve.

      • Sandra says:

@steve I checked with my doctor and he said that it is OK for me to take Raspberry Ketones with my hypothyroid. I’ve been on them for a week now and I’ve already lost 3 pounds. I’m not doing anything different besides eating a little healthier. Good luck to you all!

        • nicole says:

May I ask the brand you are taking? How many mg. and where you purchsed. I ask as we all know that not every brand contains what it is reputed to and I would prefer to buy a brand that is actually working for someone.

          Gook luck!

        • priya says:

Sandra,I also have hypothyroid, take 75 mcg of generic levothryoxine medication. I asked my Doctor, she is not aware of this. How do you feel taking this supplement along with your thryoid medication?Any side effects? I plan to take next month.

          • Joyce says:

@prlya I’ve been lucky enough to not have any side effects with the supplement. I’m busy up and about all day and if anything, this supplement has helped me fall asleep faster since I have more energy during the day. I’m thankful that I have not experienced any side effects with my meds but I made sure to check with my doctor first before I started to take them.

    • s.a. says:

i am wondering the same thing. I have not lost weight. I have not slept well since taking raspberry ketones. I am jittery and actually somewhat depressed.
Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same thing.

      • L Post says:

This is going onto week 5 I think with the RK. I have been experiencing headaches and insomnia & mood swings. I keep blaming menopause but with discussing the moods as of late, w/my bf it seems that the anxiety and moods have been really extreme the past 4-6 days. I can go from happy to sad to angry and rage withins seconds! Like I said I kept blaming the menopause, it’s really hard to say. I am going to go off the RK and note my daily emotions. I cant take this feeling anymore, I need to know what is really causing it.

        • Stephen says:

I read that RK makes your body release norepinephrine so that could be why you are having the mood swings. I’m not sure why exactly it does that but it seems to only affect some people and not everyone because my wife is taking this and she is fine with no side effects but her sister is also taking it and she’s been having mood strange mood swings. If you don’t feel good on them, don’t take them but you also have to weigh how important losing the weight is to you. My wife is down 13 pounds so far and she is still going.

      • Elizabeth says:

What brand are you taking s.a.? Check the ingredients lis to see if there are other ingredients in your bottle that can be causing this.

  6. jeannie zrakovi says:

where are the answers to these questions???

  7. Amanda says:

I’ve been using raspberry ketone and had zero side effects. Good stuff.

    • Amelia says:

Same here. I think it’s very important that you do research and buy only pure Raspberry Ketone extract from a reputable company so it is all natural and you do not get any side effects.

  8. jen says:

I have been taking rasberry keytones for a week 1 capsule 1/2 hour before each meal. It does not make me jittery
although caffeine doesnt either. I do however have severe acid reflex as well. I constantly feel as if I drank a glass
of fruit juice when in fact all I drink is water. I also go to the bathroom way more than I ever did before but I guess thats
where the weight goes right? The acid reflex has been for three solid days so I am cutting back to just two capsules to see if it helps.

    • donna says:

thats a good idea. im going to try doing that too to see if it helps. i have the same side effect as you do.

    • Jackie says:

Make sure you drink 8oz glass water with pills and have healthy Bfst.I do poached egg on half wheat muffin, slice low fat swill and just a bite of avacado+slice tomatoe..alternate Scrambles, hard boiled…Stay away from Breads,Cereals except oats..Good Luck

      • Jacqueline says:

Yeah, I found that the key is drinking plenty of water while you are on this supplement. You will not get any side effects if you stay hydrated and eat a healthy diet.

      • nancy says:

I have the kind that is powder so I just put it in my morning tea. The only side effect I found is that I am urinating more don’t know if that is cause of the sugar content of the raspberries or is way of releasing fat. weight is not falling off but have maintained after days Ii thought weight would go up cause of salty food eaten. Have only been on it for two weeks.

  9. La Verne says:

I just received my Raspberry Ketones from an online dealer because all the stores in our area were out of them. I was very shocked and disappointed to see on the “warnings” that it says not to be taken if you are being treated for high blood pressure, (which i am, but mine is under control with meds) and also says that you should not take if you are taking any prescription drugs, which I am. What the heck is this? Nothing I’ve ever seen or heard before about this product said anything about this. Also, which vitamins are dangerous and should NOT be taken with Ketones?. None of the above was mentioned by Dr. Oz.

    • Samuel says:

@La Verne, You must have purchased something other than all natural Raspberry Ketone. Raspberry Ketone is all natural and does not affect any medical conditions or medications. You must have purchased something with SOME Raspberry Ketone in it mixed with other ingredients that can affect blood pressure. Make sure you read the ingredients list and research the product before you purchase. I’ve been on Raspberry Ketone for over 4 months and I did A LOT of research before I made my purchase. I’ve been buying mine from Healthier Post and it has been a great decision. Hope that was helpful for you.

      • Suzie Q says:

@ Samuel….I would not go as far to say that because something is “all natural and does not affect any medical conditions or medications”. That is a COMMON misconception. The FDA does not regulate herbs/vitamins, thus we do not know all the effects of the newest wonder pill on the market until people start going to ER’s with heart palpatations, high blood pressure, dizziness…….In the 1990′s Ma Huang was the wonder diet herb that came from a cone-bearing shrub that was native to China. A shrub sounds harmless, it a natural source. Right? The FDA now considers it an herb of “undefined safety” in the Ephedra family that contributed to 15 fatalities and although still recognized for its other medical purposes, is not on the market for dieting. Then and only then is minimal research done to protect or warn the consumer. Funding is not available to research ALL the natural supplements available, thus the warning statement on the bottle because side-effects are not known. Animal testing is how research is started so a product can get on the market. Thus the studies are incomplete and animals are not comparable to humans since we do not metabolize the same way. So…use any product at your own risk and consult your Doctor or Pharmacist before taking ANY supplement no matter how harmless it sounds.

        • cassie n says:

You are absolutely correct suzy, natural isn’t necessary safe, people need to understand. Do your homework, talk to your doctor and your pharmacist. You only have one body. If you put good things in your body, it will work well for you. Good luck all in our effort to be healthy.

          • Amanda says:

I am a pharmacist and raspberry ketones cause norephinephrine release, which can cause blood pressure to spike. If you have uncontrolled or borderline high blood pressure, these are definitely not safe. If you have controlled high blood pressure, they may be ok, but I would monitor it closely.

A lot of our drugs are “all natural.” Digoxin comes from a plant. The right dose can help people, but if you eat too much of it, you die. A lot of poisons are “all natural.” Cyanide is found in apple seeds. You wouldn’t take cyanide.

            • Tim says:

Yes I agree. Anyone with blood pressure issues should not take it and if you have even more complicated issues like Thyroid issues, Diabetes, etc. I would definitely check with your doctor to see if it is safe for you to take. Anyone can become seriously ill from supplements or medications that you can but at the grocery store. Be smart and proactive about your health when you are weighing weight loss options.

            • lucy says:

So I can take this if I have controlled high blood pressure? I really want to try it because of all the great reviews. I’m desperate to lose this weight!

            • Bea says:

what about type 2 diabetes .. is this product safe to take for us?

              • Mary says:

I too am type 2 diabetic and would like to know if it is safe for me. The natural sugars in fruit will make my sugar soar.

            • andrew says:

I have been on blood pressure and collestral pills for one year and I started just taking Rasberry Ketone pills. Since the start my blod pressure has changed. it went from 130/82 to about 115/72. seems like its working on my blood pressure and am yet to find out about body weight.

    • Bernadette says:

I have been taking Rasberry Keytones….no other ingredients…for over a week now. Recently I have noticed that I just didn’t feel right, had a slight buzzing in my head. Finally, I had my blood pressure taken and it was high. I never have had high blood pressure before. So, if you do have blood pressure problems, keep a running check on it as often as you can, to see if this might raise it. For me, I am off it……won’t use anything that raises my B/P. Not worth it. Everyone’s body reacts differently to things….so just watch and listen to yours. Any thing that stimulates the body, will most likely raise your blood pressure…even caffeine will.

      • Lisa C says:

I, too have experience the high blood pressure. My levels are always good and today my blood pressure was elevated. I have been taking the RK for about three weeks.

        • Thomas says:

If you have uncontrolled high blood pressure, you should not be taking this supplement. It will make your blood sugar spike. If your blood pressure is controlled, you can take it but I would still check with your doctor.

    • Jessica says:

your taking the wrong pills, the ones on the Dr. Oz show have 100 % raspberry keytone….No other ingrediants!

  10. TAG says:

I’ve been taking them for 2 weeks. Yesterday, my left side started hurting and still hurts today. I wonder what these do to the liver?

  11. Jones says:

I am not over weight I’m just trying to get rid of my belly fat. Is this product ok for me to use? My weight is 120 and I also need to know the best time to take it and if this product make you sick?

    • Anna says:

I would recommend not taking a supplement that contains caffeine or green tea. It made me feel anxious so I only took it for a few days. I have now bought a product without green tea or caffeine and do not have heart burn or anxiety. I would take the product before you eat lunch. It is a natural supplement and so far I haven’t found any real side effects. The side effects coming up online seem to be coming from effects from caffeine/green tea such as feeling jittery, difficulty with sleeping and anxiety and heart burn

    • Cameron says:

This product has worked great for me with weight loss in my belly and my side “love handles” I’ve been on them for 2 months now and I’m down 12 pounds. The product I take is all natural so there are no side effects. I take 1 capsule in the morning and 1 capsule in the afternoon.

      • Phyllis says:

I’m in the process of researching Raspberry Ketone and came across your remarks. Would certainly appreciate the name of the company who makes the product you’re taking. Many companies can claim that their product is natural, but , as we all know, false information is rampant!!

      • JUDY says:

      • Veronica says:

What brand are you using and where did you purchase them.

        • Cameron says:

@ Veronica I am taking Healthier raspberry ketone. I posted the link to the site above in my response to Phyllis :)

    • Cheri says:

Hi, I was wondering the exact same thing, I weigh 120 and am 5 3 1/2 inches tall, if you get an answwer let me know please

      • Cheri says:

oops sorry, I weight 120 lbs and am 5′ 3 1/2 inches tall and was wondering if I can take Raspberry Ketones to just drop a few or to stay in shape, please advise if anyone knows if this is just for overweight people

        • D. Simpson says:

No, this supplement is for anyone who is looking to lose weight naturally. It is not subjected to obese people though they may gain the most from it with weight loss. My daughter took this because she needed to lose 5 pounds and she exercises 5 days a week and eats really healthy. She lost it in a month and she has been taking it ever since. I started taking this also about 2 weeks ago since she insisted on how well it works and I have noticed an increase in my energy level. I haven’t seen any weight loss but I am 6’1 and weigh 180. Don’t think I need to lose any.

        • Mason says:

Yes, I just needed to lose 6 pounds to get to my ideal weight and I took these to help me. I am active, eat healthy and I take good care of my body. I was able to lose the 6 pounds in 3 1/2 weeks with the same regime I’ve been on. I plateaued with my weight loss for the last 2 months and this product did the job. I may continue to take it depending on how I feel off of it.

    • E.C. says:

Try CLA. People say it really helps with belly fat.

  12. Janet says:

Hi This is a drug in a natural form. The weight loss occurs by increasing your norephinprine. This can cause anxiety and should not take this if taking anti-depressents, blood pressure pills etc.

    • steph says:

that’s interesting, is there anything else you cannot take while you are on it? or are there any other medical conditions that should stay away from this? i’m a diabetic and i want to try this but i’m afraid of the negative side effects.

      • lynne says:

I am a diabetic as well and was wondering the same thing. I ave already bought Raspberry Ketones

        • steph says:

i asked my doctor about this and he said that it was safe for me to take. he said that it would not affect my blood sugars. i’m on day 4 and i feel good so far, will keep everyone updated!!!

  13. Nicole says:

I was wondering what would happen after you stop taking the pills? Would your weight increase again rapidly?

    • Jeannie says:

I don’t think your weight would increase respidly but it does seem like you weight would come back if you do not change your habits from the balloon example they showed. My friend has been taking these for over 3 months now and she’s been losing weight and doing great. She plans to take the normal dose cut in half for an extended period of time. I’m going to start mine this week so I’ll keep everyone posted on my progress and how she does on it.

      • John says:

So does that mean you have to take them forever to maintain your weight loss?

        • Jeannie says:

No, if you change little lifestyle habits like eating better and exercising, you will not gain it back. You have to remember that staying healthy takes a lot of work and effort.

        • Stephanie Champion says:

I took them for 3 months and lost 15 pounds with very little modification to my diet and eating. I’ve been off of them for 2 weeks now and I’ve been able to maintain the weight loss but I have had to watch what I eat. I’m going to start taking them again because I got a lot of energy from them and I like the way they make me feel. I’m not looking to lose any more weight. Just want to feel good and maintain the weight loss.

      • JUDY says:

        BUY IT?

  14. Jenn says:

I’m not sure why I haven’t seen any negative comments on the Rasberry Ketones. I don’t find them to be all that great. I’ve been taking them for a month, exercise and eat fairly decent and haven’t seen any weight loss. I’m wondering if I’m taking them wrong because all the other posts rave about them. I’ll continue to take them for the time being and hopefully I’ll see what everyone else is seeing.

    • Jeannie says:

@Jenn, which brand are you taking and what is the dose you are taking? It may be that you are not getting enough of the Ketone extract to get the weight loss benefits. You have to read the ingredients list and Raspberry Ketone has t be the number one ingredient with more than 300 mg per serving in order for there to be a therapeutic effect.

    • angela says:

Keep in mind the guests on r. Oz were on this supplement for over 8 months and they worked with a personal trainer who helped them exercise and came up with a meal plan for them. This supplement does work but I also know that it will take time for me to see the results I want. The weight took years to put on so now I am working towards taking it all off. I’ve been on the for 3 months and I have lost 25 pounds. I am very happy because the weight I lost has been our fat around my belly area. This is a great supplement- you just have to give it time and remember that the weight will not drop overnight.

      • Aksuna says:

Yeah, I remember that with each new “miracle” product, nothing is overnight. You still have to make an effort to eat better and exercise in order to get results. Just taking something and changing nothing, eating cheetos and being a couch potato will not help you lose any weight. If you are serious about losing the weight, take the supplement, start exercising and eat a good healthy diet and you will be on your way!

      • nicole says:

what brand, where did you buy and what dose do you take please.

        Thank you!

        • angela says:

I took healthier raspberry ketone lean. It is made of the pure extract and I took 2 a day. You can get it on the shopping portion of this site. good luck to you.

    • gina says:

i’ve been taking them for 2 weeks and i haven’t lost any weight :( i’m not doing anything different but i though they would help you lose weight without any change? i guess there’s nothing out there like that, too good to be true. i guess i’ll have to start going to the gym.

      • Wendy says:

I too have been taking the Bio Raspberry Ketone Diet for 2 weeks and my weight has actually increased. I had gone to the health food store to help in my weight gain and supress my apetite due to my limited physical ability. I was told this was the best on the market and decided to try it to help in the loss of weight as well as energy.

So far I have gained 3 lbs, still no energy and 1 hour after eating and taking my dose I feel like I am starving.

Does anyone else have this same issue? I take it 2x a day as recommended, and am extremely disappointed. :(

        • Chris says:

Hi Wendy, what brand are you taking and how many mg are you getting a day? Also, what is your normal intake of food for a day? I’m a nutritionist and I have some patients that are on this supplement and they seem to be having success with weight loss with this but they are taking all natural supplements and getting 400 mg a day. I also have them on a healthy diet of lean proteins, vegetables, fruits and very little processed foods. It may be your diet and the amount of food you are taking in that is not allowing for your weight loss. Try to make sure you are eating fresh foods and stay away from sugary snacks, fried foods and processed foods.

    • Kayla says:

maybe it’s the brand you are taking? I know I did well on these and my friend who started them at the same time as me has not been losing as much as me. She bought her pills from GNC and I ordered mine online. Not sure if it’s the different brands that make a difference for how much you can lose?

  15. taddy says:

I have been feeling aggressive since starting to take the raspberry ketones. Has anyone else felt this way. i exercise about 15 miles per week and should be feeling great however since starting i feel grumpy. thanks

    • lupita says:

I’ve been having mood swings too. I get really mad at my husband and kids because they have been driving me crazy. Is it them or this pill I am taking? It seems to have gotten worse since I have been taking them.

      • susan says:

I am always high strung so I can’t speak to that but I have another weird thing happening. My right elbow has turned dark in the past week of me starting the pills. With the tie-in of ketones to diabetes, is this something to watch out for? I started searching for info about the elbow things & the term ketone (moderately increasing) came up every time. Does anyone know about this or is it just a coincidence? I get anxious on the info superhighway…

        • will says:

you should check with your doctor. it sounds like it can be something serious and you don’t want to count on info you get online to diagnose it.

        • karis says:

do you have diabetes? that could be a sign that you have diabetes. my aunt had that on her elbows and knees and she went to the doctor and they diagnosed her with that.

  16. Kailey says:

Since these are natural, does anyone know if they can be taken while pregnant or breastfeeding? Not wanting to lose weight now, but want to shed the baby weight quickly after. I wouldn’t want to do anything to hurt my baby.

    • Jamie K. says:

No, my bottle says not to take it if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. I wouldn’t take it until you are done just to be safe.

  17. Edna says:

I have type 2 diabetes, controlled high bp, hypoactive thyroid, and am on long term medication for treatment of depression and anxiety. If this product is all natural, I assume I will be okay adding it to my list of daily doses. Please reply ASAP. I am excited about getting started.

    • Shirley says:

I am type II diabetic and am on meds for high cholesterol and I love my raspberry k. They give me lots of energy. I take two different brands. One is pure raspberry k with no other ingredients and it does not give me long lasting energy. The other has African mango and I have energy all day. I take one of each first thing in the morning on an empty stomach and another of the pure raspberry k before lunch. I am losing 2 + pounds a week without changing anything.

    • Darnell says:

I would probably check with your doctor before starting anything. You have quite a list of conditions so it’s best that you check to be safe. There are a lot natural supplements that do effect certain medications or conditions.

  18. Junie says:

I just ordered Raspberry Keytones from a reputable vitamin company. I am overweight and pre-diabetic. I take Diovan for high blood pressure and control my diabetes with diet. Will it be safe for me to use Raspberry Keytones. I feel if I lose about 50 lbs. I can go off the blood pressure meds and prevent full blown diabetes. I also take fish oil and flaxseed and a 1 a day vitamin. Will I need to stop all vitamins while taking Raspberry Keytones.I also take an 81 ml aspirin daily.

    Nature’s vision raspberry ketones

    • soulsearchin says:

I’ve read a few post that is was safe to take if you had Hypothyroidism. If taking Medication for your Thyroids, such as Synthroid… don’t take at the same time with the RK, take at least an hour or two a part…. but don’t quote me on it.

    • Jay says:

I have the Trace Minerals brand of Raspberry Ketone and there are no warnings on this product. It also does not contain caffiene or green tea extract.

  20. Kim says:

I was wondering, I was on a medication that claimed to get rid of the fat within your body. One major side effect was loose bowels. While on this medication I could not be away from a washroom at all. Please advise if anyone has experienced this as well

    • lovelyday says:

Hi Kim, I’ve been on this product for over a month and I have not had any issues with loose bowels. I have experienced more bowel movements in general on these but not a significant amount (maybe 1-2 more per day). I was concerned about this too originally as all diet products seem to have a detox property but it’s been working out well for me. I was actually not very regular with my bowel movements prior to taking this supplement but now my schedule is very regular. I feel great on these and I’ve also seen weight loss. Hope that helps you with your concern.

  21. Brenda says:

Saw this on Dr. Oz – am a little skeptical since reading these comments since I have diabetes, HBP and atrial fibrillation. I take meds to keep my heartbeat under control and can not risk going into A-Fib because of a supplement. With the comments about feeling jittery after taking, I would like more info before I decide to try them. Any comments or help?

    • chrissie` says:

I would not fool around if you have those type of medical problems. I have atrial fib and fainted because of it and nearly killed myself when I hit my head. You also have HBP and diabetes. Try getting motivated to lose weight the natural way. I went from 136 lbs to 121 lbs in a matter of 6 months just counting points on Weight Watchers. I didn’t go to meetings but just practiced healthy eating and portion control which is a biggie. Good luck.

  22. Debbie says:

At what age can you start using this supplement? Is it safe for teenagers?

    • Joney says:

It’s probably best to check with your physician on whether your teenager can take this. Most supplements say 18 years or older but the brand I use has no indication of an age limit. Good luck!

    • Cindy says:

My 14 year old daughter is on this but we checked with our physician first. He said that it was safe for her to take with my supervision. She’s been on it for over a month now and I monitor her what she eats and her vitals at home. I’ve been making sure that she only eats 2,000 calories a day and exercises 2 times a week. She’s lost 7 pounds so far and she is ecstatic. She’s been heavy since her early childhood and we’ve tried many different supplements but they never worked for her. I’m not very pro on having kids take supplements other than vitamins but she has tried everything and the kids at her school are so cruel. I figured that if our physician says this is safe and I actively monitor her health and progress, this would be a good idea. If you have the time and energy to monitor your child on this, I would definitely say go for it because the progress I have seen with my daughter has been exceptional so far.

      • Rachel says:

which brand did you buy? where did you purchase it?

        • Cindy says:

She takes the Healthier Raspberry Ketones. I forgot to mention that she has not had any major side effects besides some heartburn and her blood pressure has been normal. I check it once a day for her.

  23. Debbie says:

    Is this safe for teenagers?

  24. Kathie says:

I started taking the Rasberry Ketones on April 8th. On April 10th, I started feeling extremely dizziness – fell once. When I went to bed, the room was spinning. It was frightening. The Raspberry Ketones are the only thing I am doing differently in my life. I realize these are all natural with no side effects, but I’m not sure I can handle this (unless it’s going to go away eventually). Anyone else going through this?

    • Daniella says:

I did feel a little weird the first day I took them- hard to explain but it was a dizzy feeling after I was done with 30 minutes of cardio. I felt it again the next day on this supplement but that symptom has since gone away. I feel more energy now but the first 2 days, I had many bowel movements so I’m not sure if it was toxins being removed from my system? Hope that helps.

  25. Crystal says:

Hello I just started to take the RK this week I havent had any bad symptoms but when I exercise I feel more pain on my abdomen and I feel like I get tired faster Do U think the RK have to do with this or its probably cuz its burning the fat faster .

    • angie says:

I’ve been working out with a trainer and taking RK and I’ve also been feeling pain in my abdomen. My trainer said that it is just my abs feeling sore since they are being worked out. He said that most people who have not worked out in a while or consistently will confuse sore abs with abdomen pain because they do feel similar. I know my abs have been for but I’ve really been seeing the fat melt off in the region. Hopefully I can get to my weight loss goal with this and my new workout routine.

    • Tonya says:

Hi Crystal, you may be dehydrated and need more water. Try that and see if that helps if you are still getting the pain in your abdomen.

  26. vicky says:

Can any one give me a few good brands to order I’ve gone to a lot of stores and they are completely sold out and I’ve been looking online and its everywhere I really don’t no what to choose that’s why I was wondering if anyone could help me ITS SO FRUSTRATING LOL.

    Thank you! !! ( :

    • Sandra says:

The brand I take is Healthier Raspberry Ketones. It is sold online on this website I’ve been taking it for over 2 months and I have not had any side effects. I take mine in the morning with a full glass of water and I eat a light breakfast of an egg whites and spinach omelet. I usually don’t get hungry until around 1 and I eat a grilled ck salad or a turkey sandwich with almonds. I’ve lost 12 pounds so far and I am very happy about the progress. Hope you have the same experience!

  27. Lois says:

Just started Raspberry ketones today …100 mg 1/2 hr before breakfast….have felt nauseated all day and some slight lightheadedness earlier , also. I am prescribed medications, but have read there are not supposed to be any side effects of this……how long will these symptoms go on, esp. nausea, …I am not good with that and have to work, will not be able to continue if this is ongoing

    • Jeremy says:

Did you take it with food? It will give you an upset stomach if you do not take it with food. Try it with your breakfast or inch so you do not get nausea.

    • jennjenn says:

make sure you eat something before you take them. you will def get an upset stomach if you do not take these with food. make sure you drink lots of water too so you do not get heartburn.

    • Dan says:

Remember to eat something, even if it’s a granola bar and drink lots of water. That is a must when you are taking any supplement. Hopefully your nausea will subside, best of luck to you.

  28. Gemma says:

I brought Fembody from GNC…Has anyone heard of this? I has 200mg of keytones in it. Manager said it is all the same. I have tried to look it up but only find it on GNC website. I want to know if it’s just as good w/the same effects?

    • angela says:

gemma, not all of the products are the same. you need to read the labels and make sure you are getting pure raspberry ketone extract and a quality product. reading all of the labels and ingredients is the best way to be proactive about what you take and your health. hopefully the product that you purchased will be good quality and will work.

  29. Jessica says:

Is anyone taking additional supplements beside the Raspberry Ketones? I am just curious if anyone has noticed any interactions with other supplements. I take CLA for fat burner/muscle builder. Curious if its ok to take them together!

    • brenda says:

I want to know the same thing too! Or if I can take this with sea buckthorne??? HELPP!!!

    • Danny says:

I take both RK and CLA together and they seem to be working for me. My abs are coming through and it’s finally burning that last layer of fat I had between my abs and sunlight! No side effects either with taking them both. I would highly recommend this combo for people trying to lose belly fat.

    • Faith says:

I take RK along with an African Mango supplement and they have been working great for me. The African Mango suppresses my appetite and the RK helps me burn off the fat. Taking the 2 supplements along with working out twice a week has really helped me speed up my weight loss and fat burn. I have gone from 140 to 125 and 28% body fat to 18% body fat. That combination works for me.

    • Barb says:

I take RK with Acai Berry and have had good results so far. Adding them to my healthy diet, I’ve lost 15 pounds in 2 months. Really happy and I will continue to take both if it keeps helping me lose!

  30. Bobbie says:

I ordered pure (nothing else added) Raspberry Ketones. It came in a resealable pouch of 30,000 gms (about 1/2 cup). It is a white crystalline powder that you can mix in water, juice or place directly on the tongue. I am taking about 100 mg or 1/16 of a tsp one half hour before breakfast. I haven’t noticed acid reflux or anxiety but definitely gastric cramping and increased bowel movements. I will continue to cut back on the dosage until the cramping quits. My husband is also taking it and hasn’t experienced any problems. This is my second week and it must be working because I have had two different people ask me if I’m losing weight and I had to use a belt to keep my ski pants from sliding down last weekend. I walk on the treadmill, work out on the Total Gym and do arm weights almost every day.

  31. MaryAnn says:

Can you safely take raspberry ketones with metformin medication for type 2 diabetes.

  32. MaryAnn says:

Are raspberry ketones compatible with metformin medication for diabetes and simvastatin for cholesterol contronl. Please advise if raspberry ketones are suitable with all medications and vitamin supplements?

  33. Julie says:

im about to be on birth control and i’ve just ordered ketone i was wondering how do you know if its the natural kind instead of the fake stuff? and will this affect my birth control? thank you.

    • Hilary says:

RK is all natural and it will not affect your birth control. Thing like antibiotics will affect the efficacy of birth control.

  34. Michelle says:

Can you take this product if your doing the hcg diet

    • Lori says:

I would not recommend taking this is you are taking HCG. HCG is it’s own diet that is very specific with what you can and cannot take or eat. Just do one or the other and I’m sure you will see results. It’s never a good idea to mix 2 different diet supplements if they are not compatible.

    • Donna j says:

I don;t think it will hurt you but I’m not sure this is allowed on the HCG diet? I vaguely remember one of my friends who did the HCG diet saying that she takes her same vitamins but that the diet was pretty strict.

    • Susan says:

Just stick with hcg if you are doing that. You will lose enough weight alone on that if you follow the diet plan. I lost 40 pounds on it 6 moths ago and I’ve kept the weight off. It’s a very good product and that’s why doctors are wanting patients to go in to their office to see them for it instead of being able to buy it online for a fraction of the cost. It’s all about profits!

  35. Christina says:

i am 20 years old and i was born without a thyroiid and i bought a bottle of rasberry ketones and i heard it does affect people with thyroid problems, can you please clear this up for me.

    • Melissa says:

I am actually in the same situation. I was also born without a thyroid and I just ordered these but am now concerned. I know I should ask my doctor but she has already been bothering me with it comes to my thyroid (she keeps lowering my dose…I don’t HAVE a thyroid, stop lowering what I need to make up for it) so I feel like regardless of if this is safe or not she is just going to tell me no, and/or lower my medication again….so if someone on here can suggest whether it should be ok or niot it would be greatly appreciated!

  36. Carneb says:

Hi I just want to know if I can take Rk because I’m very sensible to many things, and sicne I asked and they told me that it was going to give lots of enery…I did not buy it.. Will this product make me shaky all day, nervous, and will my heartbeat go faster.. This is the dought I have. Can some one anser my concerns please..

    • Julia says:

I’ve been on this for 2 weeks and I haven’t had any side effects. I don’t feel jittery- just more energy. I hate the products that make you feel jittery because I would rather not take it at all than get the jitters. Hope this helps.

    • Kenneth says:

This product is not like other diet products out there. You will not feel jittery and that;’s why Dr. Oz recommends it because it gives you stimulant free energy to burn the fat off.

  37. Anna says:

I saw this on Dr. Oz and ordered it online. When I received the product, there was a note saying that they were out of the one I ordered so they sent me their “replacement” instead. It’s called Raspberry Ketone Lean from MaritzMayer Laboratories. The first ingredient is Rasbery Ketone, then African Mango Extract, Acai Fruit, Green Tea Extract, Reservatrol, Caffeine Anhydrous, Apple Cider Vinegar (powder), Kelp, Grapefruit (powder). The last ingredient concerns me. I take Simvastatin to lower my cholesterol and I’m worried that the grapefruit powder in this capsule may/might interact with my drug since all grapefruit, fruit and juice products, can be harmful with this. It does not state the measurement of the grapefruit in the capsule. It just says serving size is 2 capsules and Proprietary Formula 1200 mg. What does this mean? With all the other ingredients in it, I’m assuming this is not the “pure” Raspberry Ketone product. I took it for about 3 weeks, then had a sinus infection and stopped taking it while I was on antibiotics. Now I’m afraid to resume my daily intake of it. What should I do?

  38. KG says:

Can the Raspberry Ketones be taken with a Green Tea Extract supplement?

  39. KMG says:

I also have experienced loose bowels while taking this medication. It is definitely worse if I don’t eat right aftet taking it. I only take 125 mg, once in the morning. I am going to try drinking a full glass of water with it. I do feel more energy and have lost weight. But, the need to be near a bathroom at all times is a problem.

    • Kim says:

Does the brand you are taking have any laxative properties? If it is only the ketones extract, you should not be having loose bowels. Sounds more like a cleanser you are taking.

  40. JD says:

Yes I have been taking this for a couple of days now. I take one 250mg a day. And I have a lot of gas is this normal. I never had this problem before taking this. I have no other side effect that ever one is taking about so far.

  41. Michael Cruz says:

I have been working out and have lost 20lbs with diet & exercise, but was stuck at 205 for 3 weeks.
So I started raspberry ketones (100mg) twice a day on May 1st.. I’ve lost a pound a day since (I still
    Work out and diet)
Acid reflux – I don’t get any, but have read that it generally happens when u take more than 150mg at
    A time

Only problem I have is my stomach hurts , whether it’s hunger pains or actual cramp type feelings, but
I am loosing weight with the ketones

    Follow me on twitter @oxsmoothxo

    • nicole says:

which brand and where did you purchase please?

    • Cindy says:

I also am loosing at least a pound a day with a 800-1200 calorie diet. I do not eat after 7 before bed and run twice before work 2 miles and on the weekends also. I’m taking rasberry keytones which is also the same brand of HCG diet drops I used and they worked just as well but that’s a hard diet for anyone but I lost 33 pounds.

  42. Deniece says:

I have been taking Raspberry Ketone as well and the brand I have is Healthy Origins from GNC for 20.00 dollars. Its pure raspberry ketone and is a white pill. I have been taking the pills for one month now and I take four a day, because one was not enough. I take 200 mg which is two pills in the morning and then again at dinner. I have lost 26 pounds since being on the raspberry ketone. I have found that I do have more bowel movements and I have always had a problem with bowel movements. I also have more energy I have four kids and was very dranied before taking the pills and now I find I have more enegry then the kids. I must admit I just had a baby and shes two months old, so I’m not really sure if the pills have done all of the work alone. I’m not a skinny person I am overweight female that weighed 248 and now weight 222. I did make some key changes in my life as well. I walk one mile a day and I stop eating at 7pm, and if i get hungry I will have something small in calories (Snack). I hope I have helped someone. TO ALL THE OTHER PPL WITH THE OTHER SIDE EFFECTS YOUR ARE TAKING THE WRONG PILLS. IT MUST BE PURE RASPBERRY KETONE. I have experienced one side effect which I am testing to make sure. I stop taking the product for one week and will resume on monday. I will update later to let you know if the side effect is correct. Thank you to all.

  43. MaryC says:

I have bleeding ulcers and cannot have caffene. Are you sure there is none in pure raspberry ketone ?

  44. Izzath says:

Is it suitable for vegetarian???? is there any animal fat????

    • ggfe says:

not in the powder but if it is in a capsules, you need to find out if the capsules are made from animal “gelatin”

  45. pauline says:

just wondering if it was ok to take one capsule a day? will it still have an effect?

  46. Olivia says:

I’ve been taking Raspberry Ketone for a month now and have experienced NO weight loss.

I am out speed walking/jogging 3hours a day, exercise on an elliptical three times a week (30minutes), do weight exercises 3 times a week and do yoga every evening. I eat a breakfast (yogurt, hard boiled egg, 1/2 grapefruit), lunch (a homemade smoothie + usually hummus, pita crackers and carrots), dinner (mostly chicken based + veggies) and will sometimes have a small fruit dessert or low fat frozen yogurt.

I have stomach fat, thighs and love handles to spare (my doctor said I could lose 15-20lbs and be near the lower end of my target weight) and was really hoping that Raspberry Ketone would help me lose these pounds I’ve been desperately trying to get rid of for over a year.

I’m quite frustrated. The brand I have is called “Wisdom of Nature Inc. – Pure Raspberry Ketone” and they are 100mg per capsule. I take three capsules a day. The ingredients are “100mg Pure Raspberry Ketone @ 98% Ketone” and the capsule is “Magnesium Stearate, Silica” I take the pills before lunch and dinner, as it says to take them before your larger meals. Any advice? I’m very active and eat well. I do have a hypothyroid condition (but my doctor said it was okay to take these).

    • Cliff says:

I would suggest bumping up your dose to 200 mg each time to see of it helps. The brand I take has 250 mg and I take it twice a day. I have seen weight loss and it seems if I take it 4 times a day, I lose more. Hope that was helpful t you and that you give it a try.

    • Daniel says:

It’s probably the brand you are taking. I’ve been taking these with my friend and we both have been losing weight consistently with a few slight modifications in our diet and our exercise routine. Maybe the quality of the brand is the issue because what you are doing is VERY disciplined and you should be losing weight.

    • C.E.B. says:

      Hello Olivia,

It sounds, from what you have described that you do a very high amount of cardio in a 7 day period, and along with the diet regime you described, it tells me your body is in starvation mode. This means that you are burning far too many calories and not eating enough of the balanced carbohydrates/protein/fats to compensate your calorie output.

I am a fitness competitor and used the RK pills to shed those last few pounds prior to stage, and it worked for me. However, one has to consume the right ratio of carbs/protein/fats and an appropriate weight training regime for the RK to work for most without having to take a high dose.

By increasing weight training will alleviate taking these high doses and will also burn off that “belly fat” and “love handles.” You will not have to worry about gaining also of muscle (unless you wish to do so) because women generally do not have enough testosterone to end up looking like “Arnold!” But what the muscle gain will do is help to burn the fat off more efficiently even at rest.

      Hope this helps.

  47. Rachel says:

Is raspberry ketone something my teenager could take? He’s 13 years old.

  48. Krystle says:

Since I have started taking the Raspberry Ketones, I have felt incredibly bloated. There is no other reason at this time of the month I would be feeling this way so I was just wondering about this…

    • June says:

Funny how everything effects everyone diffrently. I felt bloated for the first few days but that wnet away after I started to drink more water. I was also going to the bathroom more after I drank more water and the bloated feeling went away. Maybe give that a try?

  49. Yolanda says:

Does anyone know if ther are any side effects on the Brand Dynamic Health Raspberry Ketones that Lucille Roberts Sale?? I just got them but to paranoid to take them, I am afraid of side effects.

  50. Anna Marye says:

I don’t drink very much caffeine at all. I get anxiety attacks so I try and stay away from it. Will the caffeine in the raspberry ketones affect me?

  51. Linda says:

I have been taking RK for about 3 weeks. I have not had a period for over 5 years so considered myself post-menapausal. I began heavy spotting this week so am wondering if the RK is tha cause. Has anyone else had hormonal reactions to the RK?

    • Joella says:

I’ve heard that red raspberry leaves can help regulate your menses if you have a heavy flow. My doctor told me that some women have to take it because their menses are really heavy and they help the body to naturally regulate it.

    • Denise says:

Definitely agree with this I take 500mg a day of pure raspberry ketone and it has completely messed up my cycle

  52. sheila says:

I am a diabetic. Does this affect my sugar levals at all?

  53. Skylar says:

I just recently bought Tru Raspberry Ketone supplements off of Groupon (a coupon site that offers great deals daily) and I’m kind of skeptical of this brand because no one has really been talking about it, though I doubt they would sell a false one on Groupon. I plan on trying it out tomorrow, but does anyone know if this particular brand is good/fake? Thanks!

    • Tonya says:

Groupon will sell anything that advertisers want them to sell! The whole point of the site is to make money from advertisers and sell their products to consumers. I don;t doubt that the product may be reputable but just because it is on Groupon does not mean it is all natural and pure.

  54. Linda says:

I got my RK at my health food store. I havent’t lost any weight at all infact I have gained 3 lbs! the lable says serving size 2 capsules. rasaberry ketone 500 mg, green tea 400g multiberry complex 100 mg. it says to take 1 capsule 1 to 3 times daily 30 min prior to meals. I have only been takingit for about 5 days , today I experienced some dizzyness and shaking. I believe it’s the caffine in the green tea . the brand I take is VITA PLUS do they make RK without caffine?

    • Daniel says:

Try Rasberry Ketone from Healthier Post. I’ve been taking it for a month with no issues or side effects. Down 8 pounds.

  55. Michelle says:

I am 44 years old. I have had a hysterectomy, and am currently on HRT. Ten year ago, I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism. since then, I have other issues with my blood pression and Cholesterol. I take meds for all 3 medical issues.

WOuld there be any benefit from me taking raspberry Keytone?

    Thank you

  56. Joe says:

Can a person with manic depression take this drug?

    • Franklin says:

Probably not…I would check with your doctor on this one as it sounds like a serious issue and you do not want a supplement to set off an episode.

    • Steve says:

Don’t touch anything if your condition is that serious. Ask your doctor before starting anything, even if it’s a vitamin because it can effect your meds.

  57. Robert says:

I have been diagnosed with enlarged prostate and currently take medication for that. I recently purchased pure raspberry ketone and noticed on the bottle that any prostate problems I should be consulting a doctor before taking the supplement. If I take the ketone, will there be any side effects with the prostate?

  58. andrew says:

will weigh my comments after a couples of weeks after the experince.

  59. Deb says:

My side affect was a rash all over and turned bright red. I had to take benadryl. It happened to me twice. ThY is all I used it. So anyone else have this problem? I bought the all natural raspberry ketone with green tea.

  60. Judy Beatty says:

I started taking Pure Raspberry Ketone today, and this afternoon my blood pressure shot up higher than it’s been in years. Caffeine does not usually bother me, so I’m wondering what is going on.

    • Lori says:

The same thing happened to me and I’ve never had any issues with my BP. I stopped taking it after 2 days and I called and returned the bottle. I feel stupid for being taken by them but that’s what you get when you don’t do your research. Will never be ordering anything from them again.

  61. Rose Anne says:

Today I purchased RK from GNC (Rightway). Only other ingredients in them are rice flour, Magnesium, Stearate, Gelatin. Don’t think any of these ingredients are caffeine. Took one capsule…have a “warm” feeling …… almost like temperature is raised. Don’t feel jittery….but seems like these have an after-taste…I burped and can “taste” it… Same thing happened when I took fish oils…but I put them in the freezer and that eliminated the problem. Has anyone had success with these GNC RK? Thanks.

    • sandy says:

I had that same hot feeling all day. This is my first day, today. I have an off feeling in my head too. My heart is racing and I feel I should not exercise as this will ellivate that. Also feel more hungry but can not taste much. I am also hyperthyroid. So even after one day I am not sure if I should continue.

  62. robin says:

Years ago I got hives .. from the only thing i could relate it to was rasberries… so i have only had them in small amounts every so often .. with no side affects… and I do drink rasberry tea every so often .. do you think i would have a reaction to R Ks ?

    • Joanne says:

Yes, these pills are a highly concentrated dose of Raspberries and what gives them their taste so do not take it if you are allergic to Raspberries.

  63. Rassy says:

mine are 500 mg is it ok to take 2 a day?

  64. Abiola says:

Where can i see it to buy in ondostate in nigerian & the cost

  65. Lisa says:

Hello , can anyone tell me if it’s ok to take it if you have High Blood Pressure ?

    • Brenda K. says:

@Lisa I have controlled HBP and I’ve been taking these for 2 weeks now. I have not had issues with them with my medications. I have had some acid reflux with the supplement but other than that, I have been doing good on them. If you don’t feel comfortable, check with your doctor first :)

I’ve been taking the Quality brand raspberry ketone lean for a month now – 2 capsules a day (proprietary formula of 1200 mg per capsule) but to be honest, have not seen any change at all in weight loss, sleep disturbances, or energy levels. I walk daily and eat consistently healthy, low fat meals. What am I doing wrong?

  67. katie says:

I have been taking raspberry ketones made by hi-tech pharmaceuticals which I purchased at Vitamin World for about two weeks now. I have seen no weight loss, I have actually gained weight . I take them according to the directions, one 125 mg twice a day. It states the product is made from 99% pure ketones. I am post menopausal and it is very hard for me to lose weight , so I thought about increasing the dosage, however there is a warning on the bottle which states do not exceed recommended dose. I also have read an article stating the body does not respond unless the dosage is at 300 mg per serving and also a comment by someone stating no one should ever exceed 125 mg per serving twice per day. There seems to be a lot of contradictory statements as to the the proper dosage. Can anyone clarify this?

    • Lougilbert says:

I purchased the same product from GNC. Haven’t had a chance to try them yet- would like to know your progress as of now.

  68. Jeanne says:

HI..i bought some raspberry ketone from walmart a test bottle. 30 pills. Pure Health is the brand. Only ingredient is Raspberry Ketone. 800mg per serving. 2 capsules.. i took 2 about 30 minutes before eating luncy.. gave me a terrible headache. actually it knocked me out..i slept for about 3 hours!.. thank goodness i was off work.. well i took 1 pill before dinner.. went to bed. i woke up with another headache. i guess i cant take these.. i am also on 100mg synthroid.

  69. maryann says:

i would like to know if i can take this pill if i take xanax for my nerves. also does it affect the sugar level. thanks

  70. Jennifer E says:

I have had Diabetes since I was 11 and have never found anything that wont mess with my blood sugars…Will this??? I wear an insulin pump, and just need to loose a few pounds..well like 20lbs.

  71. Jenny B says:

Has anyone heard about the safety of any of these products before pregnancy or while breastfeeding? My husband and I want to start a family in about 6 months and I would like to drop some weight before so that I can have a healthier pregnancy. On that note, I don’t want to take anything that could interfere with us getting pregnant when we are ready. I know that women are supposed to avoid raspberry leaf extract while pregnant? So I am naturally concerned about this product. Any ideas???

    • Rachel says:

I would try this supplement, lose the weight that you are looking to lose with this, a healthy diet and exercise and then after you have reached your goal, start trying to get pregnant. Your body will be undergoing changes while you are taking a supplement, exercising and eating better so you do not want to be actively trying to get pregnant if you are straining your body to lose weight. Just lose the weight and then try to get pregnant and you will have a great, healthy, safe pregnancy :)

  72. Rheanna says:

i just bought some raspberry keytones yesterday. i was wondering if it was safe for me to take concidering i am taking some perscription medications such as: naproxen(for a bone disease called CRMO, a type of arthritis), raberprazole( for a stomach ulcer), iron supplement(for an iron deficency), a multi vitamin, vitamin D3, and birth control. Are the raspberry keytones safe for me to take?

  73. Rheanna says:

the brand i bought is called: healthy natural systems raspberry thin, it says on the back not to take it if you have an iron deficency. I do and wanted to know if it was safe? should i take the whole serving or only take half of if?

    • Don says:

You should really check with your doctor on this. He/she would know if that is safe for you t take considering your ailments. And if the bottle says not to take it if you have an iron deficiency, you probably shouldn’t take it. Pretty self explanatory.

  74. michelle says:

can teenagers (16) buy raspberry keytones from a health food store with out a prescription from a doctor?

  75. Pals says:

I bought Raspberry Ketone diet bottle yesterday. 60 capsules (vegetarian) (i dont know if that matters). The brand is Bionutrition inc.. Serving size two capsule per day w/ meals. Ingredients Raspberry Ketones 100mg n Green Tea extract 100 mg. has anyone tried this brand and got results? I bought it from Country Nutrition store.

I had tried HcG diet m failed as I couldnt complete the third phase successfully due to an impending unforeseen surgery following a fracture due to a fall. I gained more wt than what I was when I originally started off with. I did lose wt successfully in spite of being a vegetarian. But since the lapse in third phase I am stubbornly stuck n just cant budge!! No matter what I do. I exercise regularly and eat healthy too.

    Thanks for all your inputs!

    - Pals.

    • DK says:

      Hi Pals,
Please read my earlier comment- that’s for u:) hope it helps!!

    • P.C. says:

I did the hCG drops and they worked amazing for me. I lost 40 pounds after 2 rounds. I did fall off the horse a few times and cheated while I was on the diet but I did an apple day for a few days and that got me back on track. I took these with my friends just to try and they do give you energy but they do not provide the weight loss that the drops do. Trust me, get back on another round of hCG again and you will lose the weight. Exercise is not recommended for the drops so you will do great on them again!

  76. Pals says:

Error on content. Its 200 raspberry ketones n 300 mg greentea extract. Apologies for the info error.

  77. Angel says:

I just bought a bottle of Pure Health Raspberry Ketone, 800 mg. per serving, 2 capsule per serv. I assume? I do have controlled high blood pressure medication I currently take, will I be ok to interact the two drugs? I have seen mixed reviews on it, I haven’t started it yet, any advice??

  78. Diana says:

I have been taking Raspberry Ketone for a month now, 2 a day, but unfortunately I have not lost any weight. My diet is the same. I’d like to know of any others out there for whom it didn’t work.

    • Ingrid says:

Hi Diane, Same thing for me. I started on June 12 and I run and walk 3 times a week for 2 miles.I called the company and they toldme to double the dose and maybe that will help, I am just a little worry about that. anyways I decided to take 3a day starting today and see if any thing change in a week. If nothing change I will just return them..

  79. Stacy says:

No quick fix that can affect health or cause problems is worth it. Eat healthy, limit fast food, exercise, eat more fruit and veggies. The end

    • Charlise says:

I completely agree. You can’t take something and expect to lose a ton of weight without changing anything you do. EAT HEALTHIER, EXERCISE, HELP YOUR BODY OUT!!! Simply taking the supplement and changing nothing but expecting to lose a significant amount of weight is unrealistic. Common sense people!

  80. SdivaI says:

I took the bio nutrition RK. Not good. I took half a pill with water and then food. Cramps, diarehea, jitters, and feeling “off” I didn’t like how my body reacted to this supplement. I drank a gallon of water trying to flush my system. I even spoke to the pharmacist about this prior to purchase on the “all natural” ingredients. . I do take medication and have bouts of anxiety. I would not recommend this RK bio nutrition to others. I threw them out. Healthy diet and exercise only for my body

  81. DK says:

Hi, I am vegetarian too & hv been struggling wth weight after my son’s birth. To lose weight the best thing is exercise & follow good eating habits. From feb 2012 hv been exercising regularly and eating only healthy stuff- keeping journal of what I eat & controlling portion- I lost 20 pounds so far. But now I’ve hit wall as I am already in a healthy weight zone, so I am planning to take raspberry ketone for help.
Please do not go on any crash diet as u’ll gain all the weight back the minute u r off of it. Other thing it breaks down ur muscle & increases ur fat percentage in ur body.
Try to do it the hard way as only it works & stays with u. Other all product wl make u gain all the weight back once u stop that product. ( I have experienced it firsthand)

I only mean to help. No offense intended. Hope my comments are helpful.

  82. LW says:

I don’t agre with the “no side effects” statement. I get horrible heart burn every time I take it. What I am taking is 100% raspberry keytone with no other ingredients. I would like to know why.

  83. TJC says:

I just bought Pure Health Pure Raspberry Extract, serving size 2 white capsules = 800mg from Wal Mart. I have not started taking them yet just wondering if anyone has had any side effects from this brand. Has anyone lost wt with this brand? It is pure Raspberry Extract only NO additives!

  84. Young says:

I take Man Scorch which has raspberry ketones as one of its main ingredients and i feel great. No jitters and i don’t get tired at work anymore. So far its been a week but i feel great taking it because it also helps as a hunger suppressant. Three in the morning and three in the afternoon 4 hours apart. Also it states to start off with one or two to see how your body reacts to the dosage, but yeah hope this helps anyone whos looking to lose weight. I lost 3 lbs in this first week so far plus doing insanity and p90x exercises really helps.

  85. CMC says:

After reading everyone’s comments I’m sure I can’t use this product. Reason being I get major heart palpations and have trouble breathing if I have caffeine. To bad I just couldn’t eat massive amounts of raspberries and get the same results as I love fruit.

  86. maria says:

i have been using Maritzmayer laboratories rasberry ketones lean advanced weight loss , and its not working for me for 1 mth i have used this pill and did not loose any weight it just makes me feel terrible have anyone else try this product and wht have u experienced?

  87. SMEverly says:

I started taking Raspberry Ketones Max from a company called Pacific Naturals. Sure, I lost 3 lbs in first week; however, by the end of the week I had increased the dose to the max allowed ( 2 tablets twice a day before meals) and I was throwing up and nauseated all weekend. I had a partial thyroidectomy two years ago and am on Synthroid. Turns out that the effects of the Raspberry Ketones can affect thyroid function. Just wanted to warn others

  88. Beatriz says:

Hi. I just bought the Premium Raspberry Ketone online. Has anybody tried that one?

    • Ingrid says:

      Hi Beatriz,
Just wondering how are you doing with the pills. I read that they worked very good. Areporter said that she lost 27 pound in 6 weeks with that brand.

  89. Brenda says:

Hello I bought some raspberry keytone and I took it for two days now. I broke out with a rash. On my arms and my stomach. I don’t know if it was from the keyton or not, But I quit taking them to see if the rash will got away.

    • Cynthia says:

I took raspberry ketone for one day. The next morning I woke up with HIVES! Will not take any more. So much for no side effect. I am not allergic to raspberries, and yes mine was, from ketonic labs, no other ingreds.

      • Danielle says:

It’s because that brand is lace with a bunch of other ingredients. Read the ingredients label, it has green tea, caffeine and a bunch of other stuff in it. It is NOT pure or all natural at all. I took it for 3 weeks with zero results. What a rip off!

        • joel says:

yes. it is LAB CREATED (all brands are) so it IS possible the real Rasberry Keytones do something, but one can never know eating this somewhat HARSH (heat and unknown chemials within this).

The one I had did not place caffine in it, but did have DECAFFEINATED green tea.
Which means it still had at least 15 MG of Caffine anyway.

i had just read that BLACK rasberries contain natural phyto chemicals more then the standard red or yellow varsities. Of which I grew myself for 20 years in my back yard.
Not sure at all if any truth to it as yet. But one thing u can be sure anything MADE in a Lab like these
KEYTONE’s sold me health food stores needs to be examined VERY carefully before taking long term

  90. Theresa says:

I have mitral valve prolapse and I take a beta blocker for the palpatations. My cardiologist has advised me not to do caffeine. Are there any ingredients in this that would affect my condition?

    • joel says:

dont take this product. it is intense, seems not to work and could effect you.

      i would look into the following: an herb taken in the orient for -t h o u s a n d s -of years!
Gynostemma. it is believed in chinese medicine to protect the heart, and STRENGTHEN one that needs it.
(it is in the ginsing family, but is not ginsing) It ‘may’ protect the body and has a very interesting & POSITIVE yet bitter taste. this brand is a one of the few that use it.

also make sure u take 1-3 packs of emergenC a day. I use the Orange and also the Tangerine one straight with NO water.
-The mag & potassiium will be important for your heart and for overall calmness and energy.-
best of luck and health to YOU

  92. Danielle says:

I have been on these pills for a month now. I am 4 days late for my period. I am always on time. I took several tests and I am not pregnant. Is it possible that these pills are causing me to miss my period? Is anyone else having these same symptoms?

  93. MUNDI says:

I have fibrocystic disease.I need to know if I can take your product? Does raspberry-ketone contain caffeine? If so,do you suggest a product that does not caffeine for weight loss? Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  94. teri marie says:

I bought a bottle of Raspberry ketones at Sprout’s today. Trace Minerals Raspberry Ketone 250mg and I started taking them at lunchtime. I’m eager to see if it will help me lose 15 pounds. I know that many of the RK products contain stimulants like caffeine so I choose to stay away from a blend. Please let me know if anybody else has had any success or other effects from the Trace Minerals Raspberry Ketone brand.

  95. Kelli says:

I have been taking these for about 3 weeks now and have already lost 12 pounds. I am not doing anything different other than taking the pills. I still eat anything I want and I dont tend to work out and Im still loosing weight. I also found that they gave me that extra boost I need to get my day going… I love Raspberry Ketones!

  96. Melissa says:

will raspberry keytone help with diabetes treatment

  99. Yasmin says:

I’ve only just heard of this product and the reviews seem amazing. I’m 19yrs old, 5’8″ and weigh 11 stones (70kg). Seeing as I’m not overweight and only want to lose the fat around my belly ( & possibly 1 stone) would this product be suitable? Thanks :)

  100. margaret says:

is sixteen years old to young to take this

  101. Gary says:

Raspberry Ketones work but they are so yesterday. Cumquat Ketones work even better and are cheaper too.

  102. flutterflys says:

I just started raspberry ketone with african mango+green tea plus L carnitine i think thats a carb blocker not sure? The ingredients are just whatever i mentioned its says it has no startch sugar or yeast and it contains 500 mg of raspberry ketone.900 mgs of the other herbs combined. Its been day two it says to take 2 capsules daily with food but i miss understood it and i thought i had to take it with each meal. I have some energy but because iam menstrating we all know that takes a lot out of you and leave you dosent make me jittery or make my mind to overactive wich is good because i have anxiety and been doing pretty good with controling it so i dont need anything that will trigger it. I do feel a warm sensation in my tummy but no bloating or pain guess the warm sensation is the ketone working, i suppose its burning up the fat by raiseing my body temp inside just like when you work out and you feel the burn. One thing i did notice also was that it made me move my bowles like i took a laxative but not like a runny kind of bowel. Excuse me for being so open dont want to disguest anyone. It says it takes at least a week to see results so i will wait a week to weigh in. I drink lots of water on a daily basis to help me. I have not experinced any sweating headaches. When i burp sometimes i taste the raspberry but thats okay some people have sensitive stomachs depending what they eat and iam one of them.

  103. Camellia says:

OMG! Who ARE you people? Always looking for a magic pill. How sad. Why don’t you just EAT RASPBERRIES?!?!?

    • Darla says:

Because you would need to eat A LOT of Raspberries to get the therapeutic effect of fat burn. I know looking for a magic pill is not ideal but if you watched the Dr. Oz episode, you would understand why you can’y just eat Raspberries.

    • PryiaKapoor says:

Take it easy! Wow, you’re so judgmental! Why are you reading all of this info if you are not interested in taking RK? Move along if its bothering you. Try reading about medications for anger management instead.

      • Beautyisi says:

I seen a few post on face book about this RK … I just recently signed up for the gym and so far I’ve lost seven lbs.. However being the impatient person that unfortunately I am, I want results yesterday!!.. I would like to try this product but I don’t want any heart palpitations that I have experienced in the past…. I’ve read a few of the comments some good and some kinda scary O-o…. very undecided… any suggestions anyone???

  104. linzi says:

what a load of rubbish if this actually worked the world would be full of skinny minnies!!!!

  105. Kaz says:

Most of the sites pushing their products guarantee 100% zero side effects – well just read so many of the comments posted here. Its hardly surprising people with severe acid reflux have a reduced appetite and so on.
Eat fresh quality food including raspberries, drink pleanty of water each day, get some exercise, and overall the best supplement anyone can take for weightloss is a little bit of common sense daily…….

  106. Irina says:

If you stop taking Raspberry ketone you will get fat again ?

  107. dill says:

i wouldn’t go as far to say that it is all-natural. most if not all of the RK on the market are artificially synthesized. ketones from actual raspberries are far too expensive… if you wanted a product from actual raspberries they would cost you at least 20 dollars per pop.

also, this being artificially synthesized, and promoted based on claims on the original copy from nature, i’d be cautious if there are isomers they havent discovered yet, which can cause serious longterm effects

finally even it is identical to the actual raspberry ketone, down to every last molecular alignment, think, people, something that works by increasing stress hormones?

    adrenal fatigue? palpitations? other problems.

like everything try it but don’t overdose

  108. Cindy says:

Try to do a hard workout even if it’s a short one make it tired you out or go for long walks. Maybe that way you will burn that energy and sleep better. I run in the mornings before work twice a week and the weekends and with the rasberry keytones I bought I’m loosing a pound a day but also follow the 800-1200 calories. And do not eat 3 hours before bed unless it’s a stack with low calorie. Or you can do theHCG diet with no caffeine, 500 calorie diet and loose more weight. I did that and lost 33 pounds. I’m taking rasberry keytones.

  109. sandy says:

Hi I just took one 150mg pill this am and it is from GNC Right way brand for $40. Well I took it and one hour later I felt so off. It affected my head and I am so hot. Became energized as if caffeinated. So I am afraid to take any more. Any comments on this? Raspberry Ketone

  110. Liz says:

My best friend and I bought 2 bottles of the Raspberry Ketone Advance Lean (1 for each one of us) and I am really looking forward to good results. He told me he got heavy diarrea with the product, so I was concerned; however, I did not get any and no bad side effects either. I wondered why he experienced what he did and not me. When I started reading the ingredients, I noticed that under the main ingredients, it said other ingredients and one of the other ingredients was gelatin which is meat based. My friend is a vegetarian and he does not consume anything with gelatin in it. As such, I was thinking that maybe this particular ingredient was what caused him the problems. Anyone else had something similar happen?

  111. Bettie says:

Hello i was just wonderimg how many pills a day of african mango does someome have to take??

  112. Jill says:

Many posts say many things…are you only supposed to take two pills a day? Mine contain 300mg in each…if I were to up the dosage to three pills a day would I see faster results?

  113. stumpy says:

My wife had me stop taking the Raspberry Ketones from Puritan Pride because of the headaches and aggitation, been off 2 days now and no headaches. Loved the flavor made me think I had eaten a raspberry filled doughnut without the guilt of all the carbs. But I had more headaches in the 2 weeks I was taking it than in the last 10 years, when i told her this she started thinking what was different and the RK was the only thing we had changed. On a side note she did mention that it made things “taste” better. Hmmm. Directions were 1 capsule twice daily with meals, may wait a bit and see how I do with just 1 per day.

  114. Jill says:

Has anyone had problems with random nose bleeds?

  115. Denise says:

Watched the Dr Oz show and saw the program were he supported the Raspberry Ketone… i went to that sight affiliated with show and bought the product.. i have read thru all of the comments and now am wondering if what i have bought is correct and with nothing that would cause me side effects… aside from the raspberry ketone, african mango extract, green tea, Acai fruit, cider vinegar , kelp, and grapefruit powder ,i see Resveratrol,Caffeine anhydrous… what are these ingredients,,,and will this turn out to be one of those diet pills that make you nervous…? i think a lot of Dr Oz and could not imagine him backing something he didn’t wholeheartedly support…. appreciate any response ….. My bottle says take two pills daily and nothing else in directions and is also says Proprietary formula 1,200mg

  116. Me says:

Would this mess with your liver?

  117. Daisy says:

Hello – I know there are a lot of discussions on here and I could not read through them all – however, I just bought a bottle of Raspberry Ketones from my nutrition store. I was trying to choose between this or the SafSlim.

I am struggling with psoriatic arthritis and my condition is getting bad – we have not gotten it under control yet, so walking, exercising, just moving is really tough on me at this point in my life. I try to do the best I can. I used to run, walk each dog individually around the block daily and to go from being so active to hardly anything at all – well lets just say it has taken a toll on the body – I am also at that age (almost 32) where it just doesn’t fall off, especially when you walk like a snail down the road and are in pain 24/7. Hopefully, one day we will find treatment that will work, but until then I am stuck…I am still hopeful and fighting for that, it has just not happened for me yet and things have been awful for me – the pain is excruciating everyday. I am on immunosupressants.

I talked to the nutrition store and they thought the SafSlim would be best for me, due to the oils in it, however, then they thought for a more immediate result try the Ketones first, then switch over to the other down the road for the benefits of the oils for my joints.

The Raspberry Ketones they have are called BioNutrition (says “The Original”) Raspberry Ketone Diet.
It is Vegetarian taking one capsule two times daily –
    Ingredients are:
    Raspberry Keytones 200 mg
    Green Tea Extract 300 mg

Additional Ingredients : Vegetable Cellulose, Vegetable Stearate, Silica
(*not sure if these are the inactive ingredients are not*)

Here is my concern – are these ingredients natural and safe to be taking? I ask because I take a TON of medications on a daily basis, as well as other supplements I have began to add into the mix (probiotics, digestive enzymes, fish oil, magnesium, liver support, Vitamin D(*I was extremely deficient in Vitamin D- so at one point Dr. prescribed 50,000IU to take 1Xa week – I now just take sup on my own*), and now I have added the Raspberry Keytone and bought some miracle rice noodles to try).

Another reason I would like to know if this is safe to be taking and natural with NO SIDE EFFECTS is because I my auto immune condition has began attacking my heart. My heart rate is extremely high. I am now on a beta blocker to bring down my heart rate – it is always over 100 bpm – when the beta blocker is wearing off or if I were to forget to take it – I feel horrible and my heart rate it pretty high in the 140′s 150′s.

Thanks so much – I appreciate the help – just want to make sure that what I am taking is safe and there is nothing i should be concerned about!

  118. Elisabeth says:

Hi, I don’t really know much about supplements or dieting pills.. But what brought me to this was the name “ketones”. I find it very eery that “ketone” is in the name of this weight loss product because it is also a name in ketoacidosis, which comes from high blood sugar and can potentially lead to hospitalization and death. The ketones I’m talking about are produced when the body is not digesting enough food, during times of fasting or high blood sugar (a lot of what the atkins diet was about), so the excess storage fat in the body begins to be burned to create energy for your body, and ketones are produced as a result of this. Now, this is as far as I know of ketones and their connection to weight loss. Does anyone know what the difference is between the ketones in this product and the ketones that are harmful, yet both lead to weight loss?

  119. toni says:

I just bought the RK and am desparsate to lose 50 pnds, and have tried everything and nada, cant loose an ounce. I take synthroid and inderal and have asked my doctor and pharmacist if safe to take it, and they both said they dont know enough about it. Does anyone taking these meds use RK?

  120. Jen says:

What brand do you recommend? With NO caffeine!

  121. melissa says:

i bought red resberry ketone in liquid drops indicating i take 20 drops twice a day but do not kow how to take it? w/ water,on food, or by itself ?

  122. Mary says:

I currently take simvastain ,which states do not eat or drink grapefruit, does anyone else use simvastatin and the rsapberry ketones and is it safe?

  123. Mariette says:

I have picked up weight since a started using pradaxa to thin my blood as I was diagnosed with a protein S deficiency. Can I use Rasberrry Ketone Max?

  124. Rachael says:

I have been taking RK from Lean Body, purchased at the Vitamin Shoppe, for two months now, every day 200mg’s a day. I have always been in good health until I started taking these. I have had 3 major anxiety attacks (including one this morning which led me to this site) and developed high blood pressure and to top all of that off have not lost any weight :( I have read most of the posts from above and didn’t notice anyone else having these problems.. I guess it’s the brand?? Any thoughts? I threw out the bottle and have been drinking a lot of water; going to check my blood pressure in a couple days to see if it lowers…

    • Venus says:

It’s Normal. It happens to everyone who takes RK, some milder than others.

RK works by increasing norepineohrine which is one of our “fight or flight” hormones.

I take some 5HTP to counter this.

  125. Nicole says:

I just bought some RK, the brand is Pure Health Naturally. They are 800mg per serving. It says to take 2 capsules 1 or more times a day, 30 min before meals with 10oz of water. Anyone tried these? I’ll post an update within the next couple of weeks

    • Tamara says:

I bought those today. I took the recommended serving, 2 capsules before a meal with water as directed. I felt fine for awhile, but then all of a sudden my stomach started feeling cramping and I needed to use the bathroom. Did the RK make you have diarrhea or loose stools?

  126. Jean says:

This absolutely no side effects claim is ridiculous. I got a bottle of pills from I took them only a few days. Each time I took them my eyelids swelled horrendously. I’m still dealing with a rash at numerous places on my body, which I did not have before taking the ketones.

  127. Bonnie says:

After taking this for about 2 weeks, my body is giving off a purple residue….it’s almost like I’ve been playing with carbon paper. this morning, my bedtime clothing had a purple color to it, (the inside, that touched my body) ever heard of this before?? only my thumb nails have been affected until today should I be worried?

Purple? Suggest you see a doctor! (Being 10/31, I hope you already have.)

Never heard of that side effect. It could be the amount you are taking or a real problem. If it’s showing up in your bedtime clothing, it may be that you are ‘sweating’ raspberry ketones.

I have struggled as long as i can to lose and maintain what I feel is my ideal body shape and weight. I have tried so many products, as millions of others have!
Raspberry Ketones have worked as a natural supplement in my current diet and exercise plan and have been having more success than with other supplements.

I have been taking the RK’s for about 10 days now and I am noticing that I am not able to regulate my body temp like usual. I am either too hot, as in perspiring, or too cold, as in goosebumps all over including my face. I go back and forth between the two extremes, even through the night. Has anyone else experienced this type of thing? I was wondering if maybe it has to do with a revved up metabolism or maybe something else? I have all natural, no caffeine or other fruit added raspberry ketones. This is very uncomfortable and I am either having a side effect or am getting sick. Any ideas would be appreciated. I hope I can keep using the RK because I definitely have less appetite and don’t even care if I have sweets, which are my downfall. I’d hate to give this up. Thanks!

I just bought System Raspberry Ketone today, but I’m not sure if its something I should use. There’s two concerns I have: 1) This particular supplement has 15mg of Cayenne in one capsule along with 100 mg of Raspberry Ketone. Is the cayenne going to create any bad side affects?
    2) I am really wanting to lose my stubborn fat in my middle (belly, love handles, and back) and I’m looking for something to assist in that loss. I am 21, 5’4 and somewhere between 135-145 pounds, so I’m not sure if I am “overweight” enough to take something like Raspberry Ketone. Is it safe for me to take it? And if so, in what doses?

(Keep in mind I am a full time student and I do not get to exercise very often).

    • Matt says:

***Preface this comment with I am NOT a doctor. Consult a physician if you are really concerned.*****

The Cayenne shouldn’t hurt you. Spices have been known to cause ‘bio/thermicgenic activity’ which aids in burning calories. (I DO have to say that I bought Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals version and it doesn’t contain Cayenne.) I have been taking for about a week and the only effects I am seeing are not weight loss but increased GI issues.

well.. I tried a bottle of rasberry keystones, from a top quality brand, and saw ZERO weight loss!
(sure all these people on here HAWKING IT, will say I needed at least a few more months and bottles to show an effect. I say hogwash.)
It should show some signs of working within 2 weeks or less. I took for over 6 weeks)
I am a 25 year Vegan and know detail on Herbs, vitamins and Minerals that most people.

I am all full Rasberries as a food and I am certain it contains phyto chemials within, that MAY when consumed propect
the body from disese. Now does the keystone in NATURAL RASBERIES BURN FAT?
WE WILL NOT KNOW CAUSE all, I repeat ALL rasberry KEYSTONES sold in AMERICA are man made in a lab!
It would cost 5-10 times more to produce naturally.

Thing is this. I lost no weight from it t all & I must say I tasted the lab created KEYTONE to gauge what it is that I am
consuming. Well it contained a ton of HEAT. (like a hot mustard) and on an empty stomach may effect some people.
I also felt beause it is not a NATURAL product, but a replication and does contain heat and UNKNOWN effects on the human body… I must at least wonder if it may cause harm in large doses or ‘normal’ doses for a prolonged period!

Is is possible that cause of it inherent heat element, have the ability to somewhat SPARK some peoples metabolism, and burn fat. Maybe. Not in my case, but it is indeed possible.
better idea: EAT NO PRODUCT MADE FROM THE WHEAT (cookies, pasta, bread, pizza ect) PLANT FOR 8 DAYS, AND WATCH YOUR BODY BURN ITS FAT… then walk each morning for 30 min, and aviod ANIMAL based food and
eat 2 firm semi green/yellow bananas each day.

Dr Oz is very respected, including by me but he may have been wrongly advised on this products claims.
As a top surgone and amazing mind, he is great just possibly lead down the wrong path on this.

A bit shifty I think. I am not going to take them. I suggest you do not either.

  137. Matt says:

Not really a ‘side effect’ BUT for people with GI (gastrointestinal) issues, this product has been known to cause excess gas/loose stool.

Part of that could be the enzymes breaking down the fats but I felt I should put it out there.

Candida sufferers. Diabetics. People who have cancer beware taking this. I myself have candida. I failed to do my research and right now as I am typing this am suffering the consequences. Ketones are an excellent source of food for candida and fungal cell walls. I felt the effects about two hours after taking one pill. I got horrible stomach pains and cramps like my stomach was being used as punching bag. I then immediately got diarrhea. Next morning ( right now as I type this) I have watery niagra falls diarrhea and throwing up last nights dinner. Its quite tasty. A little too tastey for my liking. Don’t take this if you think you have any of the above mentioned conditions as it can make the condition worse. Please do your research before taking any new supplements.

    Good day,

I am curious to know if the Raspberry Ketone supplement could be detrimental to my health. This is my story, in 2007 I almost fainted at an out of town conference. Since that incident I have never been the same. I have gone to dozens of specialists, have had hundreds of tests and no formal diagnosis as yet other then possibly auto-immune hepatitis. But some of the top liver specialists in Canada don’t feel that the wide range of symptoms that I have are fully co-related. My symptoms include: dizziness and feeling of faint, skin rashes and itchiness, ringing in my left ear, bouts of fatigue, muscle weakness, weight gain, elevated liver enzymes, occasional foamy and cloudy urine, regular but lighter menstrual periods, shortness of breath, bouts of pain in the lower right side of gym back, mental confusion, bouts of anxiety and depression, occasional joint pain, poor circulation, lost the outer shell of my eyebrows, sensitive gums and skin, irritability and much more. I have been taken off seroidal treatment as well as my Synthroid recently. I am on bio-identical progesterone cream. I have been on the RKetones for a week now but feel very jittery on them and dizzy. Please, please help I am desperate to restore my health. I exercise daily despite how I feel, I live a gluten free lifestyle and tend to eat per the Paleo way and still no relief from whatever this is. I am a 38 year old female, 5ft 6 and now a whopping 232 lbs! Once was 155lbs! Please help. Thanks so much, Natasha.

I bought pure raspberry keytones 800MG a WallMart and took only one pill! I could not sleep woke up in a sweat with my heart racing and it raised my BP UNREAL. My normal bp on no BP pills at all is 130/78 this had me at 210/110 it messes with your metabolism be careful could cause a heart attack if you already have high BP issues. Also the green coffee bean I would not touch that if you have had any acid reflux or irritable bowl syndrome it activates your stomach acid x10 to abnormal levels. As they all say ask your physician first before taking this kind of stuff. Don’t go by what just the labels and TV say they are ALL out to sell product, they do not care about any side effects. You are the test dummy. I lost 16 pounds naturally do not eat after 10 pm and reduce the amount you eat and exercise. It’s slow but it works naturally all these pills or natural supplements do is make you eat less….

    • Dan says:

WalMart sells the Pure Health RK. Normal serving size is 2 capsules 800mg or 400mg each. I just took my first dose with 10 oz water 30 min prior to eating. I don’t know specifically if the ketone part of this berry is to do what the body does naturally or not. If you’ve ever studied metabolism and the Atkin’s diet, carbs are definitely the source of our obesity in this country. Ironically, carbs are cheap to manufacture, hence people on the lower economic scale are subject to consume them more often. Cereals, white breads, potatoes, pasta, simple sugars, etc…they cost less so we consume more of them….carbs leave you feeling tired and hungry quicker, so the cycle repeats itself, more eating, more profits for these manufacturers. Sounds like a conspiracy right? Anyway, Atkins advocated, low carb, high proteins and fats…well those cost more, but the pancreas generates insulin to break down sugars/carbs (glucose)…when your body is low on glucose, your body goes after the fat cells which are store glucose….ketones vice insulin help break those fat cells down.
Although I’m not sure of how these raspberries work vice the natural system, I am assuming (hate doing that) they augment the bodies systems to go directly after the fat releasing mechanism.
That said, carbs are important and are a must for the advid exercisers…unfortunately, the majority of people, me included don’t like exercising, end up eating too many carbs and get fat! Good luck!

From the research I have done regarding rasberry keytone, you need to take 1000 mg of pure, natural raspberry keytones for it to be effective in weight loss. After numerous hours of on-line research I found a brand named “Raspberry Keytone Premium”. It’s 100% pure and natural. The capsules are 500 mg each and the only ingredient is Raspberry Keytone. Usage directions are to take (2) daily. The label states no added fillers or binders, only gelatin which is needed to make capsule. From what I have learned, I would avoid any product with caffeine or any other ingredients. Hope this helps! My husband and I started taking ours today.

  161. Grandie says:

The essence of raspberries can not be underestimated. I once had that it is one of the core nutrients that the body requires for defense against harmful and dangerous pathogenic organisms. Ever since my tender age, I have been consuming these berries and believe you me, I have not known disease. I do believe that though I take fruits in large quantities, raspberries have always dominated my list. However, I have recently heard that there are some side effects related with this nutrient and this article has given me an insight into what that actually means. I do not necessarily need to abandon my favorite berries.

  162. Lucinda says:

Hi there I was just looking for some answers. I started the Raspberry Ketones 2 days ago. The brand is Healthy Natural System that is 375 mg but it says 3x tripple strength per pill. I lost 4.5 lbs in the last 2 days. I eat normal. But my problem is I started having saver headach and has not went away. The only active ingredence is the 375 mg of ketones and 10mg of chromium which I dont know what that is. There is some other ingredences but I think thats is to make the pill it self. There is no caffeine. If you have any info you could give me email me.

  163. Duke says:

There has been a lot of talk about the side effects of raspberry ketone. However, I have been using this nutrient for the past several years and I can reassuringly confirm that I have not even for once had any such effects. However, there has not been enough research to ascertain or dismiss the talk of these side effects and therefore, my conclusion can not be taken for a fact. The author of this article too does not provide concrete evidence on this issue thereby rendering his conclusion suspicious. However, much of what he states in the earlier parts of the article seems to be truthful and factual.

  164. terry says:

Yeast infection has of late become quite a thing to worry about. Three of my friends have explained to me symptoms of their conditions that can be presumed to be as a result of yeast infection on their vaginal area. I have suffered from this condition and I bet it is one of the worst that can befall a woman. The itching and burning sensations make it impossible to undertake daily functions and can prove to be an ultimate embarrassment to those around you. While undergoing treatment, my doctor recommended just the same methods as the ones that this article recommends. I therefore guarantee they work.

  165. amanda groves says:

This trully concerns me with diabetics using this products. Look up the word ketones and see what the definition is.
It is where our fats are being used to live off of instead of carnal we intake. Dka…diabeticketoacidosis is deadly!!
This product does the same thing as dka. Is is safe…my opinion no. It would be the same thing as letting your sugar go high…go into dka and lose weight. But you have the possibility of dying. Is it worth it? My opinion no!!
My advice is look up all affects even for normal healthy people and see what damage ketones can cause. It’s not safe…I urge against using this product to lose weight…yes it works but is very unhealthy. Ketones can do organ damage…to liver, heart, lungs, kidneys, and brain…is it worth it?

  166. Juli says:

When I first heard about this weight loss product I was so excited! I am a chronic pain patient, and can not be “active,” so the advertising & Dr. Oz’s blessing was definitely exciting. I started with one pill/day, and when I got no noticeable results after 3 weeks, I upped it to two, as per the label directions. After 2 weeks I noticed my waist was getting smaller, and when I got on the scale, found that I had lost 9 pounds! Only problem: within a week (without changing ANYthing) I starting feeling the belly fat increasing again, got on the scale and had gained back 5 of the 9 pounds lost. I’m gonna keep at it, and if there aren’t any more positive affects, I’m going to stop taking them. The most positive result the Raspberry Ketone had on my daily life is that I did feel more energetic without the shakes, and that’s a huge thing for me. After 20 years of very little activity, the extra energy made my outlook on life wonderful. And I’ve been able to start doing a “gentle tai-chi” exercise, after not being able to it for more than 2 years. I’ll use all of the two bottles I ordered before I make my final step onto the scales. I have my fingers crossed!

I bought the 1200mg Raspberry Ketone Lean. I got it on 1-7-13 i used it the same day, one pill in the morning and one in the afternoon. before this my current weight was 178-180lbs..waist 44 varies from month to month due to type 2 diabetes. my metformin does not promote any type of weightloss but maintains the blood sugar. wanted to drop the lbs but no matter what i did, i could not shake the 180 MARK to go below that… Since i took the pills on the 7th today is the 11th..i lost 2 inches off my waist now i’m at 42 inches and feel lighter my jeans feel a bit loose… No Joke.. i havn’t weighed my self yet to know exactly how much i lost but i know i lost atleast 3or 4 lbs in just 4 days..i NEED to by a new scale thanks to my cats being closet monsters broke my scale after jumping on shelves crashed it and broke the needle so can”t read nothing off of it LOL..i however changed my diet h including lot more fiber, also walk my dog every evening. I do the 6 small serving meals. healthy breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Moslty grilled food. My husband bought me a very nice and expensive griddle/grill for Christmas… i cook my breakfast eggs, wheat toast bacon or sausage.. my steak ,chicken breast or salmon… and does not require any butter or oil what so ever. It cooks evenly and fast… my other three meals are snacks- yogurt, pretzel and fresh fruit. I am Happy to have made progress since metformin makes some people gain weight or sustains weight…and mine was sustained no matter how active i was…same routine as usual and now watching the lbs fall off. Raspberry Lean is sure working for me and i needed that, to jumpstart my weightloss. One thing has changed drastically is my cooking, the new grill has helped cut down the fats. before i used the regular pots and pans with oil or butter..NO MORE!! I grill all my meats in record time and usually have it with veges or potatoes…and the walking Brooklyn(My Dog) helps lots. I Cut out the sodas, processed foods, and also artificial fruit juiceS…and all the stuff with added corn syrup ITS ALL UNHEALTHY ANYWAYS…So will give update at the end of the month how much progress was made…Wanna contact me.. my email…. GOOD LUCK with your weightloss and healther living and i hoped to have inspired a few to try Raspberry Ketone….

Your story remind me of myself. I am using RK with green tea/500 mg per pill from Vitamin World. after 3 weeks my clothes is loose and I lost 8 lbs in 3 weeks. I also have type 2 diabetis and the metformin also made me fat especially around my stomach, sometime it look like i was pregnant. I stopped taking the metformin and tried to eat right, but could never do it until I started using RK with green tea. I take 1 pill in the morning with my bowl of oatmeal and a glass of green drink (kale, spinach, celery, arugula, lettuce, strawberries, banana, peaches, blueberries) and 1 pill at lunch (whole grain bread with mustard and turkey breast, carrots) and a lot of water. I sleep 6-8 hrs. and I was told I don’t look as tired. Using RK although you don’t have to change the way you eat, but once you lose the weight and notice how energize you are you just want to change your eating habits. I have not had any side effects, I just had a check up and beside my sugar still high, everything thing else has improved.

Hi everyone, apparently the major question is whether or not raspberry ketones are safe to take if you have had or currently have breast cancer or cancers which are obesity related. There are a number of studies which show that those who have a malignancy also concurrently are deficient is adiponectin which is what raspberry ketones provide/stimulate. Adiponectin regulates and inhibits tumor cell growth as well as the obesity related changes which you all have grown to appreciate with this product. If you’d like to see the results of research there are many great research articles, but the study I liked was in the journal of cell research (April 2007) 17; 280-282 “Adiponectin as a negative regulator in obesity related mammary carcinogenesis” Hopefully this helps clear up some of the questions.

  185. Khrystiane says:

I just started taking these on Saturday, I woke up this morning [ Monday ] with a terrible rash on the inside of my arms and the back of my calves. I was never told that I was allergic to raspberries, but obviously I am. Definitely make sure you talk to you doctor before use. They didn’t give me any negative side effects besides the rashes. I hope this works for everyone!

  186. Giuliana says:

Hi there, I also have headache when I take this pill. Actually I stopped taking for 1 day but now I have taken again. I take 2 per day: one with breakfast (after) and after lunch, and I got headache again… When I had a headache I took a pill to relief the pain and I got it, so maybe I should do that and wait to see if I lose any weight… what do you think? Thks.

Hello. I just came across this site and wanted to leave a comment. I take Pure Health R/K and the ingredients say 800 mg of R/K powder. It literally says “vegetarian capsule and absolutely nothing else”. I picked it up at Walmart if anyone is interested. I just started taking it so I cannot report any side effects or any weight loss. Good luck everyone!

  188. Laura says:

I got my 500mg RK from tree4life. The directions say to take 2 tablets 30 minutes before a meal. In addition there is 900 mg of proprietary blend of African Mango, Cocoa Extract, Green Tea -Camillia Sinensis (Leaves) and L-Carnitine. It does not include any sugar, starch, or yeast. no artificial colors or preservatives. And it is a vegetable capsule.
The only side effect I have experienced today…being the 1st day, and I took 2 capsules, was loose bowels after dinner. Only once. I took my pills early this morning. I have heard that RK contain Magnesium in some form. But this was not listed in the ingredients. Any ideas? Is this just an adjustment period? Do I need to just wait? I am already on weight watchers and I am slowly successful. I do excercise, But not nearly enough as I probably should. So I am hoping this will give me a helping hand, and move me along a bit.

  189. Terry says:

Can an obese 10 yr old girl take this RK capsule if it is opened and mixed into an ounce applesauce or yogurt?

  190. Rachelle says:

I started taking mine just over a week or so ago, so I just wanted to post on here my experiences.
Firstly, I just want to put out there that along with the raspberry keytone, I am trying to eat better and portion better, as well as exercising 4-5 times a week and I am also taking B6 & 12.

As for the raspberry keytones, I have not noticed any crazy weight loss (yet, I will try to come back in a month or so and post any results). On the bright side, I haven’t noticed any negative side effects either. I sometimes burp raspberry (which I think is great, there are worse things! lol). I do have higher energy, but it’s not keeping me up at night. I like the extra energy! If you are experiencing issues sleeping, I’d recommend laying off the caffeine and working out to make you sleep better.

I honestly think negative side effects are the result of either an allergy or a poorly made product. Research where you are buying from, ask questions.

All in all, I don’t expect a miracle, but I hope the pill helps control cravings. Regardless, eating better and exercise are necessary for weight loss and good health ;)

    • Rachelle says:

UPDATE… So I started at the beginning of March when my weight was fluctuating from 165-170.
Now, a few weeks later, I am steady at 160-163. I can’t say for sure if it’s the keytones or the positive lifestyle change, or both, but I find I am less hungry and have been losing weight and firming up (that’s probably from the exercise, not the pills) :)

Still no negative side-effects and no sleep loss either ;)

I’d say these pills are a good choice for anyone looking for a little extra help losing weight/controlling appetite, just make sure you get good quality I guess :)

  193. Jenny says:

Umm it works for me! I’ve already lost almost over 15 lbs with it and I just started in mid January as my new years resolution. Just watch out for the scams out there. Not all of them work.

    • Pam says:

I’m giving my opinion on this. I bought 2 bottles and having my husband taking them. Within the first 3 weeks he lost 9 pounds. Now it has cut the carvings but no more weight lost. I’m not as impressed as I was in the beginning.

I think he needs something more than this to get the weight off

    • Rachael says:

I had slight headaches in the initial first few days when I was taking Raspberry Ketones but this went within 2-3 days. They recommend that if this continues longer then 2 to 3 days you should consult your Doctor. Other than that I had no further reaction to the product.

I have used Raspberry Ketones for weight loss and haven’t experienced any ill effects yet. However, I need to be on the lookout for any potential side effects, just in case. Be careful, everyone!

As a rule of thumb you should check with your physician about taking any supplement. It is important to follow the instructions on the label. Dont go overboard thinking it will help faster. I recommend green coffee with caralluma, african mango and green tea. This combination is unique and helps in a multi-directional way. It is Leanmaxx.Get a lean body with this supplement and your diet and workout routine. I think you could do it.
    Good luck!

  205. ralph says:

why is it that they claim it is 100% RK, but then list all the other ingredients? Doesn’t anyone know what 100% means anymore?

  206. Samii says:

I am taking Phytogenix Laboratories Raspberry Ketone Dietary Supplement and so far like it. However, I did notice an increase in the restroom. Is this normal? I feel good so far and maybe this is the cleansing of the product. I am a HUGE coffee drinker and drank one cup and then took the recommended dosage. This is the first product I have tried with little to no side effect with the exception the one I mentioned above. Would appreciate feedback.

  207. Faith says:

Started Dr. Venessa’s Raspberry Ketone Elite as well as Solaray’s Tumeric special formula and experienced stomach cramps and very uncomfortable bloating. I stopped the turmeric and still have the experience. I take one 200mg Razberi-K on an empty stomach. The feelingis most distressing.

Thank you for providing such a nice information about the raspberry ketone and this information is really very impressive. Thanks for taking the time to discuss on this topic, I feel strongly about it and love learning more on this topic. It will help us to get rid of extra weight and will provide healthy life.

  209. ctecmm says:

I took raspberry ketones on an empty stomach that were purchased from Vitacost and I ended up with an upset stomach each time. I am not allergic to raspberry, but decided that the flavor was too harsh for my empty stomach (vinegars will also bother my stomach if I don’t eat other food first, like protein before eating a salad). When I stopped taking them, stomach problem went away. Tried a couple of brands and got the same effect.

Hi ! I just purchased the raspberry keytone pills and was reading the warning label . My concern is that I do have anxiety/panic attacks but i do not take any medications for it or anything does that mean I should still not take the pills ? Cause I think I read that it only affects you if your on medication ! Thanks

  212. GinoS says:

Okay, people- RK is not a panacea and it is not a trivial drug. I have high blood pressure and started taking RK about suc months ago. My creatinine level steadily increased to 1.9, or sbout 50% renal failure. Many tests later, finding nothing wrong with arteries or infection, etc. we stopped the RK. The creatinine level steadily decreased and is tabling off at abou 1.0. High normal. There can be serious complications fir people with renal problems, high blood pressure or similar ailments, particularly if you are on medications like ACE inhibitors pr ARBlockers. Do not take RK without a consult with your specialists and by all means have your testing frequency increased to protect your kidneys. Beware and for those who are obviously here to market RK – shame on you. Drug interactions kill people. Natural substances can carry very potent drugs – and most of our pharmacology is based upon plants and herbs so stop telling people that ” all natural” means “all safe”. Thats total BS and no reputable herbalist or alternative therapy practitioner would EVER say that, let alone a doctor or nurse. Please be careful. I have lasting kidney damage and although i was lucky to get tested and catch it early, some of you could be silently creating problems for yourself.
