African Mango Diet

The African Mango Diet Scam TRUTH Exposed by Healthier Post

African Mango Diet 300x225 African Mango Diet

African mango diet extract can only do its work if a high quality supplementary source is used on a daily basis over an extended period of time.

There is a lot of buzz going around about the African Mango“diet”.  While you can use this supplement to enhance your weight loss efforts, it isn’t exactly a diet. African mango is a new dietary supplement that is becoming extremely popular in weight loss products. The African mango diet has even been promoted on national television from the well-respected Dr. Oz.

The technical term for African mango is Irvingia Gabonensis. The popular name African mango was formed because it is much easier to understand and identify in weight loss products. Irvingia Gabonensis grows naturally in Africa and comes from a seed inside a fruit that looks similar to the mangoes known around the world. This is how the term African mango was formed.

African Mango Diet Benefits

Many people believe this is a fruit, but the actual extract used in health and weight loss products today comes from the seed in the center of the fruit. The seed is incredibly rich in fiber and studies are showing that the African mango diet can help the body in three ways:

1. Enhance weight loss results

2. Lower blood sugar

3. Lower cholesterol levels

The first benefit is what has made African mango diet so popular today. Everyone is looking for a way to speed up their weight loss results or just get weight loss started. Since studies have shown that people supplementing their diet with African mango diet supplements lose more weight than those following the same diets without the supplement, great hope has been placed in this supplement around the world.

The enhanced weight loss benefits are believed to come from an accelerated rate of fat burn inside the body. The intense fibers in this seed have the ability to rid the body of stored fat and unhealthy cholesterol. By allowing the body to burn more stored fat, the African mango diet delivers faster weight loss results to anyone who takes the supplement consistently.

Just as with any other diet…consistency is key!

African mango diet extract can only do its work if a high quality supplementary source is used on a daily basis over an extended period of time.

Yet, the other benefits of African mango diet supplements cannot be ignored. Diabetics can potentially control their blood sugar levels with the help of this supplement and those with high cholesterol levels can benefit from the African mango diet as well. It is very important to check with your doctor before trying the African mango diet  or any other supplement for these purposes. This is especially important if you are taking medications for your diabetes or cholesterol levels.

Most people can use African mango supplements for weight loss without any adverse effects.

Using the African Mango Diet

There is no specific diet associated with the African mango. However, there is a huge market for supplements derived from this mango-like fruit seed. These supplements vary from those that contain only African mango extract to those that contain this extract as one of many ingredients. You have to look closely because the best supplements will give a high concentration of the extract while only blending it with ingredients that are proven to be effective for weight loss or overall health.

A supplement that contains African mango extract with random ingredients not proven to have any health benefits will not deliver the results that you are expecting under the African mango diet. It is very important to pick a supplement that contains a high concentration of pure African mango extract. If there are other active ingredients, look them all up online and make sure they have a proven effectiveness for weight loss or health. If they don’t then they are fillers that won’t do your body any good.

For the best results, you should follow these guidelines:

  • Select the best African mango supplement you can find.
  • Follow a healthy diet so you will get the maximum results from the supplement.
  • Consider exercising to increase your results.

You can get some weight loss benefits just by taking the African mango diet supplement consistently, but those who are trying to lose weight benefit the most. The normal results you would get from working out and eating right will be amplified so you are rewarded twice as much for your efforts.

The good news is you can use African mango diet supplements with any type of healthy diet you choose to follow. There are many different products to choose from and some may come with dietary guides that will help you get the most from their use. You could just follow those dietary recommendations if you aren’t already following some type of diet plan along with the African mango diet.

Exercising while on the African mango diet can deliver even better results. You burn fat when you workout and the supplements naturally increase your fat burn. You can get the most out of your workouts by accelerating results with the African mango diet supplement.

Is the African Mango Diet for You?

African mango diet supplements are rather new on the market, which gives some people a little hesitation. You can wait awhile to see if it sticks in the market and is beneficial for others, but this only delays the weight loss results you could be getting yourself.

Think of all the other health and weight loss supplements that were once brand new on the market as well:

This list could go on and on, but you get the point. New things are always met with some skepticism, but so far studies are only revealing good things about the seed extract from this exotic African fruit.  Just like the Acai berry, it is likely that African mango diet will become a standard ingredient used in many reputable, well-trusted weight loss and health supplements.  Those using it right now will likely lose tons of weight in a short period of time which will stimulate the market as more people want those results.

All you need to start the African mango diet is a high quality weight loss supplement that contains a high percentage of the extract. Look for those with other ingredients proven to boost weight loss and overall health. This will give the maximum benefit to your weight loss efforts under the African mango diet. I agree. African mango diet extract can only do its work if a high quality supplementary source is used on a daily basis over an extended period of time.
Also its important to note that it should also be combined with a good diet and exercise routine, otherwise you will not get the full benefit out of it

    cheers

    • stacey says:

wait, you mean you actually have to exercise and eat well in addition to lose weight? what a concept right?! i hate it when people start a diet and eat horribly and not exercise but expect to lose weight. they get so upset that they didn’t lose any weight after like 5 days. use some common sense! well said.

    • DHoward says:

Any suggestions for a high quality supplementary source?

    • sukhi says:

I took african mango and colon cleanse pills for thirty days! one 60 capsule bottle for each. i took 2 of each a day: african mango before breakfast and before lunch and the colon cleanse ones after. (unfortunately i cant find these bottles to purchase ont he internet anymore:( ) they said i would lose 10 pounds with the supply (one month), which i didnt really believe so its not like ive had high hopes. i lost 5 pounds with exercising and eating healthy 6/7 days a week. Those fat days once a week kind of ruined my weeks hard work but i know that if i was healthy those days i probably would have lost more weight. i was pretty satisfied with this because i had the same exercise routines before and didnt lose ANY weight. So basically if youre not willing to exercise and eat healthy consistently then dont get your hopes up. this isnt a magic pill, but it does SPEED UP weight loss and has many other great benefits like lowering cholesterol levels and stuff.

  2. angelbear says:

sounds too good to be true? so i don;t have to exercise and i can still lose weight?

    • Szyknows says:

With any diet, you need to exercise and eat healthy in order to get the best results from it. There is no miracle pill that you can lose weight on and eat fatty foods and not exercise. Everything is OK in moderation and if you just make an effort to exercise a little and eat healthier, you will get results,

      • Dawn says:

I agree but for some people, it is much harder to lose weight and sometimes it is beyond their control (ie. people with thyroid problems) If African Mango can really do all of the things it states above, then it is definitely worth a try for me. I’ll repost after I start them.

        • Kato says:

why didn’t Dawn repost? is 7 months not enough time…. bogus!….
I’m a fitness teacher & personal trainer of 20+ years teaching and frankly the “refugee diet” is the best whatever your condition Thyroid or not. You don’t see any fat refugees in Sudan, so why isn’t that all the rage its free!….

  3. Kacey says:

I have type 2 diabetes and a friend of mine suggested that I try African Mango to help with weight loss. I’ve been taking them for 2 months now and I’m down 19 pounds and 4 sizes! The weight loss has been great but more importantly, my cholesterol has gone down and so has my blood sugar. My doctor was so impressed by my last set of labs and I told him that I’ve been taking this supplement and eating better. He says that if I continue to do this well, I might correct my blood sugar issue for good. I’m so excited about this and it has really helped me become motivated to stay healthy and lose more weight so I am back to what is my normal BMI. African Mango has really helped me.

    • Claire says:

      Hi,
I’d just like to say Well done- Great work. Can you please tell me where you purchased your tablets and what brand- I’m in Australia as I presume you are? Not really comfortable ordering on line from overseas.

      Thank you

You can email me at : claireandco@dodo.com.au

    • A. Navarro says:

Hi Kacey, where did you get your African Mango from? I ordered some from African Mango Direct and they charged my card $89.95 three separate times and I never got the pills! It was a real nightmare and I don’t want to run into that again.

      • lashonda says:

their is a company out their that is scamming people out of money! i tracked them down and there name is African Mango Direct. DO NOT order from them because you will get stuck in a circle where they will take money out of your bank and you cannot ever cancel the trial! NEVER ORDER ANY FREE TRIALS!!!!!

        • pat says:

i purchased a free 1 month trial of acai and lipsom from an american co 2 weeks later they took money out of my account for this £138 to be exact. their argument was terms and conditions, but a free trial of a month should be a month. after a lot of argy bargy and threaten them with all manner of ways to expose them i have my money back

          • ry says:

please fill in the details of how you got your money back. i just went through the same problem. i feel hustled and scammed.

        • Michila says:

I kinda panicked as i ordered from that site as i am an idiot. i then cancelled it online and made sure that i got receipts for the cancellations which i will keep on file as a record…..how do i actually make sure that it is cancelled? what did u do?

          • Kay says:

I just ordered a free trial and now I’m worried…. How did you cancel it?

            • Kaye says:

Just call their support team right when you receive the package – let them know that you just received it and your 15day trial starts on that day. You have 2 options of getting out of subscription. They may either ask you to cancel the subscription now but return the item back or they may ask you to use the product then give them a call on the 15th day (ask for the exact day to call), tell them that you want to cancel because it did not work. On the 2nd option, they will cancel your subscription and send you a cancellation notice – no return required.

  4. Janelle says:

I get my physical done annually and I also get my cholesterol levels tested every year. I read about African Mango and how it would help you naturally lower your cholesterol so I decided to try it. I don’t think I am “overweight” but I am 5’2″ and 145 so I figured I could lose a few pounds. I took the supplement for 2 months and I lost 12 pounds. I scheduled an appointment with my doctor after I took the supplement just to see if it really works and sure enough, my LDL levels had dropped. This is a great supplement for anyone who is health conscious. Being able to lower your bad cholesterol with a natural supplement is truly amazing to me.

    • Kato says:

if you were really health conscious how would have “BAD CHOLESTEROL” and HIGH LDL???? that does not make sense to me. IF YOU ARE HEALTH CONSCIOUS THEN HOW COME YOU HAVE PROBLEMS??? ITS ILLOGICAL AND DOWN RIGHT STUPID ANY FOOL CAN SEE THAT…

      • Tee says:

You can be health conscious & have high cholesterol, high blood pressure, etc. due to the stress level in your life… I fight that everyday. So it is very possible. :\

        • Sade says:

My father was in the military for 12 years, got out and continues 12 years later in his 50′s to run 6 miles a day and works out, but battled high cholesterol and blood pressure

      • ishita says:

now..level of cholesterol is decided by our genes and not by the lifestyle. Food may contribute to any 30% of the cholesterol level… Exercise increase the HDL level which is the good cholesterol and that is why exercise is recommended….hope that clears the question of how someone can have high cholesterol in spite of having a healthy lifestyle

      • jen says:

Kato, you’re not only a knob, you’re an ignorant knob at that!
why don’t you do your research before opening your offensive mouth,
people can be as fit as a bull and still have high LDL due to genetics.

Obviously certain genetics are lacking in your DNA!

      • Anna says:

This comment is plain ignorance. There are a lot of factors that can contribute to poor health even though an individual may be health conscience. For example, genetics has a major role in high cholesterol. You could simply have high cholesterol by nature, even thought you eat a low fat diet. Not everybody has the same body and metabolism varies between individuals. High cholesterol runs in my family (my mother has it and she eats even better than I do). I am a nutritional sciences student and I am borderline high cholesterol, even though I eat fairly low fat. Sorry, but your comment just describes yourself as “down right stupid”. Mind you, I am far from obese at 115 lbs as well, so you can’t exactly call me fat either. ;P

        • Melanie says:

I really like your comment. Some people have NO IDEA how the human body works. Is there a sign to tell if a person’s thyroid isn’t working properly and can African Mango help? My 18-year-old daughter is SO health conscious…doesn’t eat junk food, combines the right amounts of fast carbs, slow carbs, and proteins, eats fresh fruits and vegies…and works out a couple hours a day. Despite all this, she continues to gain weight (slowly, but it happens). She’s been battling this for about 4 years. People easily say…just eat less calories than you burn, but playing basketball and doing the INSANITY workout burn A LOT of calories, so I just don’t see how this is the case unless she has something causing a block of fat burning in her body. Any suggestions?

        • Grandpop says:

Eating low fat is bad for you. If you don’t eat enough fat your body will make its own cholesterol and all of it bad. You need to choose the fats you eat like organic olive oil and organic coconut oil to help out and lower your LDL level. The African Mango seed and the extract :- Irvingia Gabonensis does help to. You need to use it every day over 10 weeks or so. I tried low fat and my LDL went through the roof so no more low fat for me. Just sensible good fats from now on. You need fats for certain vitamins that are only fat soluble too like A, D, E and K. There are some ignorant and uninformed comments here like those from Kato but there will always be those that act and sound like idiots. Nuf said!

      • Chris says:

All I can say Kato – is that your comments prove what an ill-informed and dreadful personal trainer you must be.

  5. Carrie says:

I took it for 3 months with no exercise and food changes and I lost 25 pounds. I had SO much more energy while I was on it and I didn’t feel jittery at all. Maybe it just worked better for me?

    • Elena says:

There are so many products out there, could someone please let me know either the name or website they got theirs from that actually worked. Thanks

      • June says:

I get my African Mango supplement from Healthier Post here: http://www.healthierpost.com/shop/products/Healthier-African-Mango-Lean-Supplement.html
I get the 4 pack with the free colon cleanse and it is an awesome deal. The product works great- I lost 15 pounds already but now I just take it for the added health benefits. I’d like to see my LDL levels lowered some more so hopefully they will at my next check up. Their customer service is always very polite and helpful. I’m very pleased with my experience with this company and I’ve recommended this to all of my friends and family.

  6. Jane says:

I have ordered african mango diet and cleanse, as a trial costing just $10 . As from Dec 2011 the company has taken over $600 out of my account without any product apart from the trial pack . I want my money back , cant seem to find any contact numbers for this company , can some one help me out ? other people dont order these things , sounds too good , but never true !

    • HP Customer says:

      Hi Jane,

      Did you read this? http://www.healthierpost.com/scam-warning/

If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.

    • Margie says:

this is a total scam…they auto bill and if you place the order you cannot cancel with 100% money back as you are still charged the shipping / process. Please read the terms and conditions FIRST!!! I got stuck with the $ 6.95 coming out of my account but cancelled immediately after I read everything…I’ve learned my lesson about reading terms first that is for sure!

  7. Cathy Mercuri says:

Can you take African Mango if you’re on medication for under active thyroid?

    • John says:

What I can tell you for certain is that the African Mango really helps. Having taken it for the last three months, the results are evident as loses significant body weight. Besides losing weight, it lowers the cholesterol levels as well as the body blood sugar. Most doctors dealing with diabetic patients are amazed by the results of taking the African Mango. This is real motivation to remain healthy and shed more body weight to achieve a normal body mass index, all thanks to the African Mango.

  8. Major dad says:

I ordered the product 9 weeks ago. They took my money very fast. I was told the product was shipped DHL on 4 /10
I did not order it until 4/15.
I was then told it was sent regular mail. Then told there was an error in shipping and then sent out on the 12th. I contacted Kathy and Linda. Both told me that they made a mistake and the order would be shipped 5/30 Priority FED-X. This never happened .
Finally after offering to take them to court I was told that my money was

  9. Ernesto says:

I bought 3 bottles and lost. 50 lbs in 3 1/2 months. This stuff works great.

  10. Carolyn says:

I haven’t read all the comments above but need to let thos who want to buy this stuff know something quite important.

The product I bought (recommended on a different health site) copntains more caffeine than mango extract. So a couple of hours after I took the first tablet yesterday (and I took one instead of the recommended two on the first day) I developed an awful ache at the base of my skull. I have never taken caffeine. (I don’t drink coffeee and occasionally drink weak herbal tea.). I drank a lot of water to help the headache and this morning my stomach is also upset.

Having just bought 6 months supply ot it and the colon cleanse. I am regretting not being more thorough in researching the contents of the product as, for me, it is not worth taking it.

    • Carla says:

      Hey Carolyn,

I too bought a product with more caffeine than African Mango. I’m on day four and spent last night up half the night with raging panic attacks! I also have an underactive thyroid and am taking thyroxine. I’m wondering if the panic attacks are because of the caffeine – I’m not a coffee drinker and really only drink Lady Grey Tea and Green Tea. I can’t find any info about whether African Mango is safe to take with an underactive thyroid. Anyone know?

  11. Diamond says:

I am 14 now and right now i am struggling to lose weight. I have heard alot about this product, but unsure if i am going to get major results from this.Right now I am 188 lb… if I take these pills will it alow me to be at least 138lb ? If so how, and how long?

Please help me with this question… right now I am willing to do anything to lose body fat
    ~Diamond

    • jojo says:

      Diamond:
I recommend that you talk to your doctor and have them put you on a healthy eating plan and then start exercising. Even if you begin with a ten minute walk and increase it every week it will help. As far as I know it is always better to lose weight slowly, two pounds a week. One day at a time is a good way to go. Good luck!!

      • Jay J says:

Is it supposed to be abnormal to loose one pound each month because I am on the dietary pills but I am not feeling any lighter. This is my second month but it is easier for someone to guess that I have increased than to reduce my weight. This is quite embarrassing since I am starving myself to achieving nothing tangible. Please advise

  12. Sammi Sweet says:

I am not of fan of Hydroxycut – I used to use, but i found that Lady Soma products work so much better for my body. I used their Detox program (the big bottle) and I lost 70 lbs. It works, you will crap yourself at least once. You need exercise and diet. Lady Soma helps you lose the weigh fast, but make sure you work out

  13. Sandra N Smith says:

Katy, have you tried the alkaline foods diet? It worked wonders for me, I still use it to this day.

  14. Jenn says:

I have been on African mango for a week now and I have lost 5 pounds.
I have more energy and less cravings for sugar.
    So far its been great.
I am also taking a class at my gym one day a week and eating healthy.
Excited to see more results soon :)

  15. Garry M says:

I need to know more about this African mango diet. I have read the article and a lot of comments here but there are some things that I am not yet getting. I usually eat a lot of mangoes, is this enough or there something more to it? What is the recommended up take or dose because I have been used to eating it like a normal favorite fruit.

  16. Amanda says:

What is the difference between other mangoes and the African mango? Is it in the nutrients and chemical composition or what? How am I going to know that I have bought an African mango and not a British or Arabian mango? Finally, these canned and processed food supplements branded African mango, are they authentic or just but a scam?

  17. Collo says:

I have been under African mango diet and I have seen it working wonderfully to me when compared with other dietary pills that I have once used. This is great and a very big thanks to the healthier post website and doctor OZ for this valuable information. Keep on with that good work and you will be blessed by the almighty. If it were possible I would send you my progress photos to assert that the African magic works.

  18. Merine says:

My question is simple but has been disturbing me. I have been working in Africa for quite sometime now and I have seen and eaten these African mangoes. There are a lot of positive responses from western world about the effectiveness of this fruit while in Africa no one ever thinks of them as for the purpose proposed. Furthermore, they eat a lot of them and they add more weight instead of reducing as per the postulated diet consumption results.

  19. Jay J says:

It is so sad to say that I have been under African mango diet for two months now but I have lost only a pound. I do not know whether I am not using it right or it is because I enjoy using it very much. I was told that if someone is very happy he or she adds weight. May be this is the case but I am open to any viable advice and options that I can combine with or switch to in order to be able to realize a quantifiable or significant weight loss and not a pound. Chao.

  20. Kim says:

Did anyone order from this site and receive goods? I want to try it out but want to make sure it is a secured site

  21. Charlotte says:

There are so many companies that are claiming their African Mango works, just make sure you are taking at least 500 mg of African Mango daily to lose weight. Its not a magic pill, but it does help your weight loss journey. Light workout and being concerned with what you put into your body does go a long way! This Healthier Post African Mango Lean Brand I have found works! Gives me energy without the jitters.http://www.healthierpost.com/shop/products/Healthier-African-Mango-Lean-Supplement.html
